1. Making Conclusions and
Recommendations

2. A statement where you will present
the solution to the proposed problem
based on the findings of the
investigation. It describes the degree to
which the data support or do not
support the hypothesis.

3. Conclusion involves relating the
investigation to the entire scientific
process. Stating the conclusion
depends on the type of activity being
undertaken.

4. Your conclusion will show whether or
not your experiment “worked”. This
will demonstrate your skill to relate the
facts you have searched with the
findings of your investigation.

5. In your concluding statement, you
can also infer the possible benefits of
your results to the society. Likewise,
you can state any plans you might
have to continue working on other
aspects related to your study. Your
future investigations may well have
some direct application for
humanity.

6.  What was the purpose of the research ?
 What were the major findings of the
investigation ?
 Was the hypothesis supported by data ?
 What can be an explanation for the results ?
 What is the importance of the experimental
results ?
 What recommendations for further study and
for improving the experiment can be made ?
