3.5 Steps to make briquettes
3.5 The Steps
The steps how to make briquettes are:
1. Sift the sawdust to smooth the powder.
2. After sawdust in a smooth, Sawdust is burn to the color of sawdust turn into a
browning and get heat is good.
3. Make starch glue, prepare the pan, water to taste and tapioca to taste. And then
stir until jell.
4. After the starch glue finish, mix with sawdust that sift before.
5. Stir until smooth the materials.
6. After smooth, mold the materials into pipe and press the materials until really
fused or solid.
7. Next after really solid, push out the materials from mold or pipe.
8. Dry the briquettes are in the heat of the sun, try briquettes are completely dry
and become lighter.
3.6 Time and Place of Research
1. Time of Research: On September 17th until September 20th.
2. Place of Research: writer’s home in Palembang, South Sumatera.
3.7 Research Methods
The method that are used in writing scientific work this is by experiment.
3.8 Techniques of collecting the data
The writers collected data from experiments and literature review. Literature
review collected from books and internet resources to support the activities of these
experiments.
3.9 Technique of Analyze Data
The data collected in this research is qualitative data. The qualitative data is
more looking at the processing sawdust become a briquettes of sawdust.
