1-What does college offer and expect of you?
 College offer me challenging work with the opportunity for growth, learning so
that I can become a better me in a diverse environment; where with hard work I
can success in what ever my goals are.
 College expect for me to be honest, fair, respectful, responsible, and trustworthy.
2-What thinking skills can help you achieve your goals?
 Analytical, Creative, and Practical thinking skills can help me achieve my goals.
3-How can a “growth mindset” help you succeed?
 “Growth mindset” helps me succeed by encouraging me to put in effort. When I
know I can do better; I try and I do! Success is achieved by reaching for my
goals while taking responsibility and learning from my mistakes. By having this
mind set I don’t give up trying till I make it; therefore I end up with a high sense
of self-esteem.
4-How can you work effectively with others?
 By having emotional intelligence I will be able to work well with others. Because I
would not only know and understand how they fell in a given situation but I will
also know how to think and act with them.
5-How does college prepare you for work and life success?
 Gives me a better perception of the world, what is expected and how to deliver. How to
have a positive attitude. Teaches you that failing is learning. Better able to deal with the
fast pass demanding work force, problem solving skills, knowledge work and skills for
the 21st century.
 More able to get and keep a job. Better pay.
