CELL
A Cell is defined as smallest structural & functional unit
of living body.
“Robert hooke” discovered Cell.
Cell division is the process by which a parent cell divides into
two or more daughter cells.
Cell division usually occurs as part of a larger cell cycle.
Cellular communication is a stepwise process that involves the generation of
an extrinsic signal, detection of the signal by a receptor, transduction of the
signal by intracellular signallingmolecules and a cellular response
Forms of Intracellular signalling
The human body has many levels of structural organization. The simplest level is the chemical
level, which includes tiny building blocks such as atoms.
Cells are the smallest functional units of life. The simplest living creatures are single cell
creatures, but in complex life forms, such as human beings, cells also exist in the tissue level.
 Aggregations of cells in the human body be classified into four
types of tissues: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous.
