Editor's Notes

  • #14 I am pleased to be able to present today and to inform you about the Intertek Quality and Engineering.
  • #26 Level 1: Intertek conducts full evaluation and performance testing on the client’s site, and prepares the listing report. This level puts the least responsibility on the client. Level 2: Intertek engineers witness performance tests conducted by the client. Intertek prepares the test data sheets, conducts the evaluation, and prepares the listing report. Level 3: Intertek conducts construction evaluation and prepares the test plan. The client performs the test without Intertek presence and submits data sheets for review. Intertek prepares the listing report. Level 4: The client conducts construction evaluation and performance testing, and prepares report. This level puts the most responsibility on the client.
  • #28 Level 2: Audit covers calibration, environment, technician qualification (resume) Level 3: Report rollovers are now handled through our Certification Department – reducing the burden on the client. Rollover plan includes both lab assessments and project files. Annual audit covers site, staff, equipment, competency. “Confidence Building Period” required. Level 4: Client is essentially considered an extension of an Intertek lab. More stringent personnel qualification; mandatory participation in proficiency test program; semi-annual surveillance audits. “Confidence Building Period” required.
