A company profile can show investors and stakeholders the value of a company, along with its mission, goals and performance. Discovering what to include in a company profile can help you write a profile that engages readers and promotes a company's image.
In this article, we define the company profile and discuss its importance, deliver steps for writing a company profile, list tips for a strong profile and offer a template and example of a typical company profile, plus we take a look at Indeed’s Company Pages.
What is a company profile?
A company profile is a written introduction to a company that tells the reader about its activities, mission, goals and strengths. Often, a company profile includes the story of the company's founding and describes its products or services.
In smaller businesses, the company owner may write a company profile. However, larger companies can assign an employee to this task. Company profiles can fulfill the following purposes:
Funding: Company profiles can give potential investors the information they need to decide whether to provide funding for a company.
Brand building: You can use a company profile to inform website and social media users about your company's mission, values and origin.
Recruitment: A company profile, similar to a Company Page on Indeed, helps you to promote your company to prospective talent and highlight what makes your company unique.
There is no set length for company profiles. Some profiles are as short as two pages while others span 10 or more. This length can depend on a number of factors, including the audience for the company profile, the company's age and its size.

How to create a company profile
Below is a list of steps you can take to write a company profile:
1. Identify a purpose for the profile
Before you begin writing the company profile, it's important to identify its purpose. Company profiles can include different elements depending on their target audience and end goal.
Once you have identified the profile's purpose, you can think about elements to incorporate that emphasize that purpose. Here are some elements to consider including in the profile:
Company values: Whether you're writing the profile to recruit investors or engage customers, you can include language that describes the company's values.

Boutique Hotel
13-15 Guildhall Road, located in the heart of Northamp-
ton Cultural quarters. Surrounded by Art & History mu-
seum, Royal & Dearnsgate theatre, Errol flynn filmhouse
and the historic 78 Dearngate. With planning permission
our client Rikesh has plans on opening a boutique hotel, a
place influenced by his indian heritage and swedish back-
ground. Designs will illustrate a design process in which
through various site visits and area analysis will reflect in
a beautiful design.
Client: RIKESH
PROGRAMMING
My approach to 13-15 Guildhall road was to revamp what is already there
with a modern day look. My concept was Oliver twist with a twist, why?
this house holds Edwardian architecture that I decided to bring back to life
with small but radical changes. That would eventually turn this boutique
hotel into an experience that would bring more attraction into the North-
ampton Cultural Quarters. Certain materials were brought in to recreate a
new look and also has sustainable features.
PRECEDENTS
These three images are showcasing the development stages i took whilst
redesigning 13-15 Guildhall Road. As you can see I took a radical approach
with my design, my main aim was to create more space within the space
provided. How? by extending walls, taking out rooms and selecting neutral
colours.
For the ground floor I decided to completely take out the master room
above the reception, creating an extended ceiling which would eventually
turn into an overlooking gallery, complimented by a chandelier and fra-
meds crawling up behind the desk in the reception.
For the first floor contains 5 rooms ,and the second contains 4 rooms and
one apartment all consist of the same colour scheme that flows through all
floors within the boutique hotel.

In the visuals you’ll be able to visually see how I’ve incor-
porated the indian and swedish heritage within the hotel,
by using a neutral colour scheme complimented with an
accent colour. Each room is designed to bring comfort and
luxury with private spaces especially allocated within the
hotel for guests only. Public spaces offering social exposure
between guests/staff and public.

Bubbles and Paper
I decided to completely intervene
with the plan and recreate it into an
environment heavily influenced by
shape
and formation, an idea that was in
spired on how bubbles form and the
constant flow of curves; also how
paper can be used as a precedent
. Both of these materials link to natural
prod
ucts and sustainability in their own
way
I wanted to
explore how curves can expand a space
and create a sense of peace and tran-
quiity, and ecourage creativity.
