How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or
issues?
I showcase representation in my fashion magazine and challenge conventions. The whole magazine was
created by me, including editing, outfit coordination, and photography. The entire design is monochromatic
marble. My goal was to create an aesthetic that is modern and timeless, and to challenge the idea that fashion
should be dictated by trends. By using monochromatic marble I am able to highlight the beauty of the clothing and
the model. My work encompasses many different styles, including edginess and cottage core. I want to create a
space where fashion is seen as a form of self-expression and art. I want to encourage people to express their
personal style and to be proud of it. I also want to inspire people to create their own fashion, rather than relying
solely on what is offered in stores.

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
Through advice and style exploration, my magazine engages its audience. I strive to give readers
the best tips and advice on fashion and take pride in being a source of fashion inspiration. My
magazine also provides an opportunity for readers to express their own style and gain confidence in
their choices. Additionally, I use classy fonts to imply luxury, appealing to the audience's desires. I am
determined to make the magazine visually appealing to the readers by featuring high-quality photos
of beautiful clothes and styles. I also use colors to attract attention and draw the readers in.
My magazine would be distributed as a real media text in bookstores, grocery stores, and
department stores. The magazine will also be available in digital form so that readers can access it
from their mobile devices or computers. My goal is to make the magazine a source of accessibility,
inspiration and empowerment for my readers.

How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
My production skills definitely increased while making this fashion magazine. I can identify and
use small details and key elements to enhance my work. I have become more creative and able to
think outside the box to create something unique and visually appealing. Formatting, colors, fonts,
picture quality, and add-ins all play major roles in magazine production and marketing. My skills have
been put to the test when it comes to thinking of creative solutions to make the magazine stand out
from the rest. I've chosen a color palette that is eye-catching and memorable. I've also been able to
experiment with different add-ins, such as quotes and captions, that can enhance the reader's
experience.

How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
I integrated online and hardware technologies throughout my magazine. First and foremost, I
used the editing software, Canva, to build up my fashion magazine. It provides an intuitive drag-and-
drop interface and a library of templates, fonts, illustrations, and photos that make the process of
magazine design simple and efficient. I used a camera to take photos of myself modeling the clothing
used to demonstrate style. Additionally, I also mentioned Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok as my
sources of style inspiration. I used Pinterest to find ideas for my fashion magazine. I searched for
fashion trends, fashion week looks, and celebrity style to gain insight into the latest fashion designs.
This helped me create a modern and stylish magazine that could compete with the other leading
fashion publications.
