Discovering Scholarly Resources
The study observed 5 first-year students using the new library website and OneSearch tool to complete searches on assigned topics. Researchers captured the students' screens, audio, and video to analyze how easily they navigated the new site, how they used OneSearch, how they approached the search topics, and what issues arose. The researchers discovered insights into how students interacted with the updated library site and search tool that could help improve the student experience and scholarly resources offered by the university library.
