This document provides instructions for organizing a Cassandra "LAN party" where multiple nodes are set up on different tables in a room to demonstrate a Cassandra cluster. Key steps include organizing the tables and networking, calculating tokens, starting up Cassandra on each node, creating a keyspace and column family, and doing some reads and writes across the cluster. Attendees are instructed to configure their IP addresses, start Cassandra, join the cluster, create schema, and test connectivity before enjoying demonstrations of the Cassandra distributed system.
