This document discusses how universities need to adapt to remain relevant in a changing world. It notes that students and young people today are global, informed, connected and mobile, seeking global experiences and meaningful work. However, universities have largely kept the same governance structures and passive approach for centuries. This is becoming a challenge as universities face increasing competitiveness and questions about the value of degrees. To survive, universities must leverage students and alumni, improve engagement, and create a culture of innovation. The NOYO Innovation Toolkit provides a student-centered approach to meaningfully engage students throughout their learning journey and build an emotional bond to create value for both students and universities.
