Alfred Bagnall & Sons (Restoration) Ltd partnered with Tower Hamlets Homes to complete external refurbishment works on a row of terrace homes in London. The project at Bromley Road involved concrete and brickwork repairs, window repairs and repainting. Scaffolding was erected to allow workers to safely access all areas and welfare facilities were provided on site. Safety of residents was prioritized through consultation and maintenance of security and comfort during the project. Residents provided excellent feedback upon completion.

Alfred Bagnall & Sons (Restoration) Ltd. out of Bagnalls’ Erith branch have partnered
successfully with Tower Hamlets Council, now Tower Hamlets Homes, on many
projects for well over 10 years. One such example of these projects was the complete
repair and redecoration of a row of two storey terrace housing on Bromley Road.
Bagnalls were required to undertake concrete repairs and brickwork restoration, repairs
to concrete tiles and paving, repair and re-coating of rusted railings and overhauling of
the sash windows including Timbacare resin repairs to window-frames.
The repainting of white external surfaces was undertaken in Dulux masonry paint and
the whole row was scaffolded in order to reach all necessary parts of each property.
Due to the size and length of the works Bagnalls provided welfare facilities for their
operatives on site as well as First Aid arrangements in line with CDM regulations.
Safety is always paramount to Bagnalls and we consulted with Tower Hamlets and the
Residents on a variety of matters before commencement in order to maintain their
safety, security and comfort during the undertaking of the project.
Post completion Bagnalls received excellent feedback from the residents.
