Bagnalls was appointed by Scanlans LLP to undertake external repairs and redecorations on a property in Elvaston Place in Kensington, London. The project involved repairs to the brickwork, rendering, repointing, roof work, and restoring timber sash windows. Access was challenging as there was no through access, so Bagnalls erected scaffolding on the front and built a walkway over the roof to scaffold the rear facade. Scanlans' project manager described Bagnalls' service as "very efficient" and said they would use them again.

Bagnalls were appointed by Scanlans LLP to undertake the external repairs & redecorations to the front
and rear elevations of a beautiful property in Elvaston Place. The property is located next to the
Mauritius High Commission in the late-Georgian façade styled streets behind the Natural History
Museum, a short walk from the Royal Albert Hall.
The project included many different trade requirements including; rendering, brickwork repairs, brickwork
re-pointing, a roofing overhaul, liquid applied coatings to gutters and asphalt areas, resin Timber-care
repairs and the overhauling of timber sash windows prior to a full redecoration.
The areas of render and window cornices were coated with a Dulux Weathershield specification to
maximise the durability of the finish.
Access was a challenge on this project as there was no way
through the property to the rear façade. Bagnalls chose to erect
the front scaffold then build a walkway across the roof and then
lower the scaffolding materials down into the garden at the rear
of the property to enable the erecting of the rear elevation.
