changing expecta;ons of customers who were receiving NIIT services. In order to remain a
leading IT provider, NIIT instituted a program utilizing the IdeaScale platform that empowered
employees with idea suggestion and evaluation capabilities called “New Ideas, More value.” The
primary aim? To upliG service levels of the company. The IdeaScale community was called
“Ignite.”

Ignite is a community where NIIT employees brainstorm ideas across the organization in order to
improve service at every level. The IdeaScale platform was selected, because it was a real-time,
interactive, ideation tool that met every ideation and evaluation need. And even within the first
few pilot programs, the vibrant community yielded astonishing results.

• More than 700 employees submiRed 261 new ideas.
• Those ideas yielded 1195 comments and more than 4,000 votes – all resulting in more than
100 ideas moved into review and 20 ideas that were moved into development.
• Nearly 30 topics were addressed in six separate campaigns.
• Ideas included a broad array of subject matter: everything for solutions with ticketing
software to shift timing.
