DRAINAGE REFERS TO ALL THE PIPING WITHIN

A DRAINAGE SYSTEM DOESNOT INCLUDE THE
MAINS OF PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEM OR A
PRIVATE OR A PYBLIC SEWAGE TREATMENT
OR DISPOSAL PLANT.

4GENERAL RULES FOR WATER SUPPLY DRAINAGE AND SANITATION OF EACH BUILDING:
ALL BUILDING SHALL CONFIRM TO THE FOLLOWING GENERAL REQUIREMENT IN REGARDS TO THE WATER
SUPPLY, DRAINAGE AND SANITATION SYSTEM:
1. ALL PREMISES FOR HUMAN HABITATION OCCUPANCY PROVIDED WITH SUPPLY OF NEITHER CONNECTED
WITH UNSAFE WATER SUBJECT TO THE HAZARD OF BACK FLOW OR BACK SIPHONAGE.
2. PLUMBING FIXTURES,DEVICES NAD APPARATANCES SHALL BE SUPPLIED WITH WATER IN SUFFICIENT
VOLUME AND PRESSURE ADEQUATE TO ENABLE THEM TO FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY UNDER ALL
NORMAL CONDITIONS OF USE.
3. PLUMBING SHALL BE DESIGNED AND ADJUSTED TO USE TO MINIMUM QUANTITY OF WATER CONSISTENT
WITH PROPER PERFORMANCE AND CLEANING.
4. DEVICES FOR HEATING AND STORING WATER SHALL BE SO DESIGNED AND INSTALLED AS TO PREVENT
DANGERS FROM EXPLOSION THROUGH OVER HEATING.
5. EVERY BUILDING HAVING PLUMING FIXTURES INSTALLED AND INTENDED FOR HUMAN HABITATION
,OCCUPANCY OR USE ON PREMISES ABUTTING ON A STREET, ALLEY OR EASEMENT IN WHICH THERE IS A
PUBLIC SEWER,SHALL HAVE CONNECTION WITH THE SEWER.
6. ALL OTHER STRUCTURES FOR HUMAN OCCUPANCY ON USE OF PREMISES ABUTTING ON SEWER WITH A
PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM SHALL HAVE AADEQUATE SANITARY FACILITIES BUT IN NO CASE
LESS THAN ONE WATER-CLOSET AND ONE OTHER FIXTURE FOR CLEANING PURPOSES.
