What is the Campus App?
The mission of the Campus App is to connect users to fellow peers
within their school or college campus area, using our location
based service. Campus creates a social networking community
within their area without the hassle of finding friends. As well as a
social networking goal, the Campus App also aims to give users
tools and tabs so that they may better communicate and be
successful within their school campus. By utilizing our user feed,
chat rooms, and event posting Greek life, clubs, students, etc. will
all be connecting online in one place
What are the Benefits of Using this App?
The unique features of this application will provide the following
benefits for all users:
 No more friend request needed.
 Pictures, videos, quotes, what you are doing can all be posted
and all users within the area and selected community will see
them.
 Filters such as nearby, buddies, and both will be available.
 Open or closed chat groups can be made.
 On and off campus events will be included.

Management Team
We are currently building our management team.
Founder and owner Matt Johnson is a current college
student in the Southeast at Lee University and realized
the need for an application like Campus from experience
in the college atmosphere. Staying up to date with
current trends will be and important aspect. Matt hopes
to build a team of experienced and energized people
with the right funding
Customer Problem
Students and users alike have a hard time connecting to
their local university or community via big time social
media apps like Facebook, Twitter etc. There is no
current social media app that allows students to create
a profile and be automatically connected to the people
around them via our location based service. Campus
App gives users the best of both worlds enabling them
to have automatic contact with the people they interact
with every day.
Target Market
College aged students 18-24 all across the globe will appeal
most to the Campus App. these students are always wanting
to stay up to date with what is happening on and around
Campus specifically and this application is the only current
one that gives users this ability.
Customer Segments
The main target market for our social application is students aged 18-
24, which in the U.S. is 40 million alone. College students are always
looking for the next popular app. One great aspect to Campus is it can
also appeal to an array of users that stay up to date with what is
happening around high school, college, or communities alike. Campus
will allow local and national business the ability to advertise to these
specific target markets
Sales & Marketing Strategy
Once funding is secured and we can complete the final
stages of application completion we, want to beta the
application in several college campuses to better see what
exactly trends to the needs of our target market, and also
make any necessary changes if needed. The application will
then be launched across the market and with the right
funding it will enabling us to advertise through several
specific outlets, hire the necessary legal counseling, and
build our board and management team further leading to
a future additional round of funding for expansion
Competitors
Competitors on a large scale include other social
media applications like Twitter, Yik Yak, Facebook,
but campus offers a niche that is not being filled in
the market currently. The only competition with
big time applications will be time students spend
on these vs Campus. With that said, Campus
offers tools and user feed that no other app does.
