Suppose you eat 2500 calories each
day and during your daily activities
you burn 1500 calories. Then you go
to the gym for an hour and you burn
off another 500 calories. You feel

You do not have to be a food scientist to
understand that if you eat less calories
than you burn in a day, you lose weight.

If you eat 1000 calories and you still burn
1500 calories without even going to the
gym, your body uses 500 calories from the
stored fat.

They have lost the weight and they go back to
their old routine; 2500 cal. per day and
only 2000 to burn.
Their body responds to that. It says ‘good,
now we have enough cal. intake again and I
will make sure that we are not going to lose
that again!’
So the body starts to even store more fat.
