To lose weight and get in shape, you should take a good diet and exercise regularly to
burn fat. The first thing you should understand about exercise is that justbecause you
are burning calories does not mean that you are burning fat. When you exercise, your
main focus should be on reducing body fat, and you cannot lose body fat justby
burning calories. When we exercise, our body will startburning calories, but the
calories burntare the calories from carbohydrates in our system. To burn calories from
your stored fat, your body needs the presence of oxygen. There is a certain amount of
oxygen that is required for your body to burn fat and the only way to measurethe
amount that is necessary for your own body is to keep up with your target heart rate
during exercise. Please understand that if you continue to burn calories with only
carbohydrates, you willlose most of the "water weight" which leads to a decrease in
your metabolism. Also, think of the calories that your energy burns with carbohydrates
in the formof calories. If you lose too many energy calories then your muscles will not
get enough energy to increaseyour metabolism which indirectly burns fat. So when
you are on an exercise programto replace your burntenergy calories then you should
increase your calorie intake.
Burning fat calories during exerciseis avery important task which keeps the body
healthy.
During aerobic exercise, your body goes through severalstages beforereaching the
point where you are burning fat. You may have heard people say that during the first
10 minutes of exercise, you do not justburn sugar (carbohydrates). This is trueto
some extent. I say this because you will continue to burn sugar after the 10 minute
mark if you are not working hard enough to get your body more oxygen; Or you are
working too hard and you cannot supply enough oxygen to your body to burn fat.
When you exercise you should be walking at a steady pace (not too fast, nor too slow)
so that your body will use your stored fat (not carbohydrates or sugar) as its energy
source. Also remember that justbecause you have reached a state of fat burning does
not mean that you will be there. Being in the state of fat burning once again depends
on whether you are moving at a pace that is right for your body. Make sureyou are
within your target heart rate range.
BurnFat Calories At Rest
Fat is the only way to keep up with calories for hours after you have finished your
workoutthrough anaerobic exercise of fatty training. Weight training is the key to fat
burning comfortably. Weight training is an anaerobic activity that will causeyou to
burn more calories than aerobic exercise. The calories you are burning during weight
training exercises are mostly calories from carbohydrates (meaning you need to eat
even more calories per day for energy); But the calories you burn comfortably are
mostly calories fromfat. The reason you are burning fat comfortably is because weight
training increases your metabolism which uses your stored fat as energy.
To make your body the ultimate fat burning machine you should do aerobic (cardio)
and anaerobic (weight training) exercises.
