A QBB file is created by Intuit s QuickBooks software when the backup feature is utilized. These
files are proprietary and cannot be read by any other software package available to the average
consumer.
If you use QuickBooks to store and manipulate your company s financial data, it will become
crucial that you take steps to protect this data. Given enough time, the most reliable PC will have
some sort of hardware malfunction. But what to do when the company file becomes corrupted?
It is important to realize that using the same version of QuickBooks to restore the file as it was
backed up is recommended and that trying to restore a backup file (QBB) using an older version
of QuickBooks than the file was created in may not work. Obviously, you will need a computer
with an installed version of QuickBooks.
You receive error messages when working in QuickBooks

Spina Bifida Disorder
Spina Bifida Spina Bifida literally means split spine . It is the most common permanent disabling
birth defect in the United States. It happens when the brain, spinal cord do not completely
develop. It is the most common neural tube defect in the United States affecting 1500 to 2000 of
more than four million babies in each year. An estimate shows 166,000 individual lives with
Spina Bifida in the United States. I choose this disorder because many people do not about the
effects, causes, symptoms and treatments about the disorder and I wanted to know more about

The prevalence went down from Oct 1998 to Dec 1999 was 2.02 per 10,000 live births. It
reduced by 22.9% (Mark, 2016). Later in the years from 1999 2000 and 2003 2005, the
prevalence of spina bifida falls by 6.9%. The reason of the decrease is still unknown. This
decreases the prevalence of spina bifida with black population, but not within the white or
Hispanic population. Those frequencies about spina bifida had been evaluated toward 1 2 cases
for every 1000 population, with certain population hosting a greater frequency based on genetic
predilection. Research showed folate can reduce spina bifida by 70% and decrease the severity
of the disease. Myelomeningocele is the most common form of spina bifida. In the United States,
approximately 1500 babies are born with myelomeningocele each year (Mark, 2016). The
myelomeningocele and other neural tube defect had been declined since 20th century. According
to CDC, the prevalence of spina bifida is higher in white and Hispanic population, than in the
black population. According to Mark, spina bifida is detected 2 and 1.96 per in 10,000 live birth in
Hispanic and white population and 1.74 per 10,000 live birth in black

Juvenile Rights Of Juveniles
The Rights of juveniles Juveniles also have rights that look out for their best interest. According
to, Delinquency and Juvenile Justice in American Society, Sheldon provides the rights that
juveniles are granted. The supreme court ruled that when a judge considers whether to transfer a
case from juvenile court to an adult court, a juvenile is entitled to a hearing and has the right to
counsel. The court must provide a written statement giving the reasons for the waiver, and the
defense counsel must be given access to all records and reports used in reaching the decision to
waive. Often times juveniles rights are waived or broken due to lack of proper legal
representation. (Sheldon, 2006) In the case of Gault, they argued that the juvenile code of Arizona
was unconstitutional: The justices found in favor of Gault include (1) adequate written notice of
charges, (2) the right to counsel, (3) privilege against self incrimination, (4) the right to cross
examine accusers, (5) a transcript of the proceedings, and (6) the right to appellate review. (Gault,
2002) Nevertheless, more recent studies indicates that the system today has failed to deliver the
procedural justice promised by gault. For example, misconduct which includes forcing unprepared
parties to proceed with trial or a guilty plea, interrupting the lawyers witness examinations with their
own questions, and cutting off lawyers questioning. It was also revealed , two thirds of the
surveyed court workers noted that

Michael Collins Research Paper
Michael Collins was one of the most pivotal figures in the history of Ireland despite using violence
to progress his cause. He was a tremendous leader sought Irish independence. Collins possessed
characteristics of the grad at grad which were called to leadership, committed to justice, open to
growth, and intellectual.
Before he rose to fame, Ireland became part of Great Britain in 1801. The British were not very
nice to the Irish and created anti Catholic laws where Catholics were excluded from Parliament.
The British also made a mockery of the Irish by creating stereotypes in which the Irish were drunk
and violent people. When the chance came around for home rule, Ulster nationalists were not very
happy because they wanted

Irish nationalists then fought in Easter Rising between the British for the end of British rule in

Michael Collins was called to leadership in his life. He began to seek challenges and
responsibilities during his career to further his growth and understanding. When he was 19, he
was sworn into the IRB. The IRB s primary goal was for Ireland to achieve independence from
Great Britain. Members of the IRB quickly grew to respect Collins and they appointed him as a
financial advisor. He later ran as a member of Parliament and won. Instead of attending parliament,
he and other Irishmen from the Sinn Fein party made their own government called the First DГЎil.
Michael Collins was to be the finance minister for the First DГЎil where he collected money from
many countries. He led an intelligence organization which included agents and spies to kill British

Doing Business In Jamaica
Jamaica is located in the Caribbean Sea and is the largest English speaking country in the
Caribbean, over 146 miles from east to west. The island varies in its features as well. The north
coast contains coral beaches and plains where sugar cane, coconuts and citrus fruits grow, the
west coast is more of a secluded area, and the southern region is full of mountains and small
mining towns. Jamaica also has a warm climate, with the average temperature being about 80
degrees, but it also rains a lot. There are about 3 million people in this country, with the main
religion being Christianity. All of these diverse aspects of the country are very important to know
when wanting to successfully manage a business in Jamaica. In order for a U.S. manager to

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Oxide Nanoparticle
Nowadays, in adsorptive separation and purification, activated carbon, zeolites, activated alumina,
and silica gels, as existing commercial sorbents, have important roles. However, innovative
technological developments are needed in the new economy and under the stringent environmental
regulations. Despite very promising features of the newly developed nanostructured sorbent
materials, basically exploring and systematic investigations are needed on both synthesis methods
and adsorptioncharacteristic studies (Deng 2006).
The goal of nanotechnology is to make nanostructures or nano arrays with special properties,
which do not exist in their bulk or single particle types. Oxide nanoparticles can present unique
physical and chemical properties, because of their limited size and a high density in their corner or

Essay On Homosexuality In Australia
The gay population of Cairns moved into the 1980 s with optimism. Though Joh Bjelke Petersen
seemed destined to rule forever, in other Australian jurisdictions, (South Australia, Victoria and the
A.C.T.) the decriminalisation of homosexuality saw increased tolerance and open discussion of a
topic previously deemed unsuitable for polite conversation, The Love That Dare Not Speak Its
Name. In 1979 Sydney held its first GayMardi Gras, gay clubs operated openly, if discreetly, in
Brisbane, and more and more people openly identified as gay, even in Cairns.
In June 1981, the Sydney Star Observer ran the first Australian article on the wave of deaths from
pneumonia and rare cancers, and by December of that year the mainstream press picked up on ...

Comparison Of Major And Minor Prophets
In the last section of the Bible there are two parts. The two parts are the Major and Minor
Prophets. The Major prophets are in the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. The minor
Prophets are in the books of Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk,
Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi, these books form that last segment of the Old
Testament cannon. The authors of these books were the Hebrew prophets, which makes sense
because a Hebrew prophetis a spokesperson for God. The twofold aspect of the prophet s ministry
included declaring God s message for people of their day and foretelling God s actions in the
future (Hindson). Thus, the prophet was also called a seer because he could see future events before

Reflection of Juduasm Essay
Judaism is a religious tradition with origins dating back nearly four thousand years, rooted in the
ancient region of Canaan, which is now known as the land between Israel and Palestine. Judaism
did not emerge until the 1st century C.E. Judaism traces its heritage to the covenant God made
with Abraham and his lineage that God would make them a sacred people and give them a holy
land. The primary characters of Israelite culture include the great patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,
and the prophet Moses, who received God s law at Mt. Sinai. Judaismis a tradition grounded in the
religious, ethical, and social laws as they are articulated in the Torah. The Torah is known as the

Christianity and Judaism are different but they are not that much different from each other. You
you can say Christianity is Judaism s little brother because most of Christianity teachings derived
from Judaism. This fact forms a mystery, which is how these two relegions can be so close but yet
so far away from each other.
There are many different ways of practicing Judaism that are amongst us today, and many
different types of people that practice them. The traits and traditions that I find to be significant
and interesting in Judaism are Hanukkah, a Bar Mitzvah, and The Kashrut. There are many
more traits and traditions of Judaism that I favor, and there are many traits and traditions that I
might question if I thought about converting to Judaism; however, these are the traditions that I
believe to be some of the most widely known traditions throughout the world. My favorite part of
Judaism that I would have no problem being a part of would have to be a young man s Bar
Mitzvah. A Bar Mitzvah is a rite of passage for a 13 year old boy to become a man. Why is this
something to look forward to? Because for a young boys Bar Mitzvah the boy usually gets a
large amount of money. Now this money doesn t usually come in small amounts; however, it is
known to come in six to seven figures all together. This may make an older sister very jealous in a

King Henry Viii Of England
Henry VIII of England[1509 1547] By Kent McMahon King Henry VIII of England is the most
infamous and notorious of all the Monarchs of England. He was a vile and heartless man who
beheaded over 72,000 people in his 38 year reign and called for public celebration when his first
wife, Catherine of Aragorn died on the 7th of January,1536. King Henry VIII was born on the
28th of June,1491 in Greenwich Palace. He was the 3rd of seven children of King Henry VII,
the first Tudor king, and Elizabeth of York. Out of the seven children, only 4 survived infancy
Prince Arthur, Princess Margaret, Prince Henry and Princess Mary. Henry s father, King Henry
VII, unified the divided country when he killed the last Plantagenet King, Richard III. The
country had been divided in a civil war known as The War of the Roses with two sides of the
Plantagenet dynasty, the House of Lancaster and the House of York, fighting over the throne.
Both houses were descendants of two of the sons of Edward III. The House of
Lancaster, descended from John of Gaunt, was represented by a Red Rose. The House of York,
descended from Edmund of Langley, was represented by the white rose. By 1461, the Yorkists had
succeeded in becoming the royal house in England. With the Yorkist King Richard III becoming
increasingly unpopular, Henry Tudor ,a descendant of John of Gaunt, gained the support of the
country and decided to put Richard

Roma Stereotypes
While reading and listening to the interview I learned a ton form Isabel Fonseca. I always knew
there was a stereotype placed on the Roma/gypsy societies, I had no clue how segregated they
still are today. The Roma people are treated very poorly in the majority of Europe, because they
are uneducated and different. But by segregating the Roma and not allowing them in our schools
they wont ever be able to better them self s and blend better into society. Roma society s deal with
stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination which I am going to discuss in this paper. First the
Roma society s deal with people stereotyping them into one lump. People see them as uneducated,
but partially we are to blame because we wont allow them to merge into our society. Due to them
being uneducated they live in poverty. Gypsies are stereotyped as being poor, due to this we treat
them poorly regardless if we know if they are poor or not. Last we also treat them differently and
define them by the way they dress. But by us stereotyping them we are taking away their
opportunities to better themselves. Second the Roma society s deal with prejudice everyday. For
example, in the interview and article that we read there was a story about a camp of Roma s in...

Roma society into their own is in Romania. In Romania they are allowing and encouraging parents

Describe the types of dementia and common signs and symptoms
Unit 40 P1 Describe the types of dementia and common signs and symptoms The term dementia
describes a set of symptoms which can include loss of memory, mood changes and problems with
communication and reasoning. These symptoms occur when the brain is damaged by certain
conditions and diseases, including Alzheimer s disease, vascular dementia and Creutzfeldt Jakob
disease.
Age is the greatest risk factor for dementia. Dementia affects one in 14 people over
the age of 65 and one in six over the age of 80. However, dementia is not restricted to older
people: in the UK, there are over 17,000 people under the age of 65 with dementia, although this
figure is likely to be an underestimate. Alzheimer s Disease Alzheimer s disease... Show more

The difference between these types depends on what has caused the damage in the brain and which
part of the brain has been damaged.
Common signs and symptoms of vascular dementia may
include: Problems with speed of thinking, concentration and communication. Depression and
anxiety accompanying the dementia. Symptoms of a stroke, such as physical weakness or
paralysis. Seizures. Periods of severe confusion. Visual mistakes and misperceptions (for example,
seeing a rug as a pond). Changes in behaviour (for example, restlessness). Difficulties with
walking and unsteadiness. Hallucinations and delusions. Problems with continence. Psychological
symptoms such as becoming more obsessive. Dementia with Lewy Bodies Dementia with Lewy
bodies (DLB) is a form of dementia which shares characteristics with both Alzheimer s and
Parkinson s disease. It accounts for around 10% of all cases of dementia in older people and tends
to be under diagnosed.
Named after the doctor who first identified them in 1912, Lewy bodies
are tiny, spherical protein deposits found in nerve cells. Their presence in the brain disrupts the
brain s normal functioning, interrupting the action of important chemical messengers. Lewy bodies
are also found in the brains of people with Parkinson s disease, a progressive neurological disease
that affects movement.

Dealing With Cats And Computers
I have had joy and stress with dealing with cats and computers. I work in a rescue and for the
most part, only a small portion of our cats care to entertain themselves with the computer and me
whilst I am using it. Those that do, it seems, only venture after the mouse. Okay, there has to be
a reason for that name so all righty then, I deal with it. However, we have started intaking some
cats that have taken to playing with me by walking up and down the key board some words even
spell check could not figure out. But all this was well and fine as it would only be for short bursts
of time. As long as I give equal attention to the felines as well as the computer, a happy medium
exists and work can continue. However, some of them (one in particular) have begun to sit atop

Below some of them are discussed in detail.
Fixed Budget
A financial plan which cannot be changed throughout the budget period is known as Fixed budget.
It is also known as Static budget. They are made upon a very specific criteria and do not allow any
change in the plan during the time period it covers. In fixed budget, once a budget is created for
the whole operational year then there will be no room for change in it despite the fact that the
level of business changes. Sometimes it is noted that there is a sudden increase in sales/profit or on
the other hand sudden decrease in sales/profit but either of these business condition have no impact
on fixed budget.

HYPOTHESES
A hypothesis is a statement of prediction. A proposition is a statement about certain concepts that
can be judged true or false. When a proposition begins to be tested, it is known as a hypothesis.
(Cooper amp; Schindler, 2011). A hypotheses act as a tentative and conjectural nature between two
or more variables within a research. There are many types of hypotheses. Descriptive hypotheses are
one of the most common hypotheses. The existence, the size, the form, or the distribution of some
variable is stated in descriptive hypotheses (Cooper amp; Schindler, 2011). There are many
important functions of the hypotheses. For starters, it acts as a path for the study. It also
differentiates the facts relevant and those that are not. There are three qualifications that make

Michelangelo s Last Judgement
The artist that I chose to present his artwork is Michelangelo. One of Michelangelo s most famous
piece is The Last Judgement. The Last Judgement was ordered by Pope Clement VII in 1534 and
was started in 1536. Michelangelo took five years to create The Last Judgement and it was one of
the largest fresco painting in the 16th century. The painting created by Michelangelois currently
located in the Sistine Chapel of Rome. He used a painting technique called fresco . Fresco is the
use of watercolor on wet plaster. The painting represents the second coming of Christ and the
Judgement of God for all of humanity. In the center of the painting, Christ and with him, his

David is a marble statue seen as a nude male and is 17 feet tall. The sculpture is in Florence Italy in
Galleria dell Accademia. This sculpture took Michelangelo three years to complete and was
finished in 1504. David is the first nude standing sculpture in a thousand years and is a symbol
of Florence. Michelangelo is thought to believe that he borrowed the idea from the Greek and
the Hellenistic Era to build a nude sculpture. David represents victory and a hero. As seen in the
sculpture, Michelangelo uses the technique of contrapposto that was used in Greek art and
Hellenistic art. David is putting more weight on one foot than another and that creates the twist
off with his hips and legs. The slingshot that David is holding represents a weapon that he used to
defeat Goliath. The whole story that comes with the sculpture is Goliath was seemed as
impossible to defeat but David comes around and defeats Goliath with a slingshot and beheads
him. The lines and the detail that Michelangelo put in represents the use of geometry/math.
Rather than being relaxed, David s face is tight and looks like he is ready for battle. His eyes are
looking at someone or something far away and ready for something to happen. Many people
compare Donatello s David to Michelangelo s David because they appear different but were
based on the same story. In Donatello s David, he is seen standing on top of Goliath s head and

Comics Ethos Pathos Logos
Comics as Resource for ELT Educators
Comics, a medium used to express ideas via images and pictures, can be traced back to the cave
period when humans communicated ideas and thoughts using paintings and pictures. However, as
humans began to use words to communicate with one another, paintings and pictures as a mode of
communication took a backseat. They began to be used only for visual impact whenever needed. In
course of time, other than oral communication, written communication and print media were
considered effective means of communication. Various genre like novels, poems, short stories,
essays were all realized and accepted by scholars as resources to be used when educating children
and adults. Inspite of the many famous comics be it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(The teacher should give the list to students). They may then be asked to speak about the
characters in those comics and express their views on their words and behavior. This can also be
followed with a group discussion session about the various aspects like setting, place time when the
comic was written, the history behind that work etc.
Comics to Improve Learners Creativity and Innovation
Students may be given a comic sequence and they can be asked continue and go on to build their
own story. Students may come up with varied ideas, thoughts and conception. They can either be
asked to make comic strips or write an essay. This would help facilitators to improve learners
creative writing skills and also encourage students to be innovative and novel in their approach. The
visuals when displayed would definitely arouse laughter and this would make learning enjoyable
and effective.
Comics Expose Students to Society
Comics which are satirical in nature and criticize the ways of the world or the people may be sued
by the facilitator to expose students to the socio political realities of the times. They also help
students understand the times the comics depict and enable students to know the history of those
times. Some of these comics also caricature humans and reveal their follies and foibles. These make

Evaluation Of A Risk Corridor
For clarification a risk corridor is a formed idea that if insurance companies rake in higher cost
than expected the government will reimburse the insurer to a certain percentage. As an example,
if an insurer s actual claims in 2014 are at least 3% greater than the claims projected when the
insurer set 2014 rates, the government must reimburse the insurer for half of the excess
(Radnofsky, 2014). On top of that, if total claims jump 8% the government would be liable for
80% of the excess costs. This is a really risky move because the unhealthy population with insurance
could be extremely costly. The risk corridors gave third party payers the re insurance by
providing insurance to all parties. These insurers in 2015 needed massive bailouts from the
government for substantial losses reaching 2.5 billion. This can become an increasing expense
over the years. Most of all the taxpayers will be on the hook for these enormous losses, while
funding private shareholder owned insurance companies. The main issue at hand was the
Department of Health and Human Services didn t pay the full percentage that was applicable
under the risk corridor, which bankrupt some insurance providers. These small changes slowly
deteriorate the free exchange market the affordable care act was built upon. The CEO Kelly
Crowe of National Alliance stated few businesses can sustain hits like the CO OPs and other small
and new insurance companies have endured because of the federal government s

Enzymes the most important role of enzyme is to increase the speed of reactions to the extend that

Hess Law Lab Report
LAB REPORT ON VERIFICATION OF HESS S LAW
Our purpose of doing this lab was to prove the Hess s law correct. Hess s law suggests that the
enthalpy change of a reaction must be equal to the sum of the enthalpy changes of the related
reactions which lead to the original reactions. The following are the reactions at the lab; 1) NaOH (
s) NaOH (aq) 2) NaOH (aq) + HCl (aq) NaCl (aq) + H2O (l) 3) NaOH (s) + HCl (aq) NaCl (aq) +
H2O (l)
As explained before, Hess s Law states that the enthalpy change of reaction three (О”H3) should be
equal to the sum of the enthalpy changes of the first two reactions ( О”H1 + О”H2 ).
As seen at the equations, the solid NaOH dissociates into its ions, after that it is neutralized by HCl.

The literature value for the enthalpy change of the last reaction which was provided by our teacher
is 97 kJ mol 1. Agreeing this value, our result can be considered accurate.
As told at the beginning of this lab report, our aim of this experiment was to test the validity of
Hess s law which suggests that the enthalpy change of a reaction must be equal to the sum of the
enthalpy changes of the other reactions that relate to the original reaction. Our result achieved from
this experiment is the simple proof of Hess s Law s validity.
Even though the result of an experiment is accurate and matches the literature value, it does not
mean that there were no mistakes made. As the difference of the percentage uncertainty and the
percentage error suggests there were random errors made. First of them was the heat energy lost to
the surrounding environment during the experiment process taking place. This caused the recorded
highest temperature to be smaller than the actual highest temperature that was meant to reach. This
could have been prevented by adding in more and perfect

Jesus and the Pharisees face each other and test each others religious and spiritual knowledge and

much Jesus knew about God s opinions of the Sabbath in comparison to the Pharisees. On many
occasions he even outsmarted the great teachers of the law. Jesus was constantly the first to be

However, the Pharisees were brought up in a completely different way because of this, their
opinions and interpretation about Jewish life were different to his. I will now provide some
information surrounding the Pharisees:
The word Pharisee means separated one . I assume that this was the name issued to them due to
the fact that they thought so highly of themselves that they were separated from the rest of
society. They considered themselves superior to the other Jews, because of their knowledge on
the Holy Scriptures. They became almost like teachers to the public due to their knowledge, as
people were to come to them for advice since they assumed that the scriptures had solutions to all
of their problems. Many people became dependant on the Pharisees religious guidance which made
them powerful and a significant group of people. I believe that their abilities made some of the
Pharisees overconfident, self centred and big headed .
The Pharisees came from among wealthy business people and merchants. This is partially why
they thought so highly of themselves, because of their great financial network. The only
significant thing to the Pharisees was their oral law, the Law of Moses and the law of the Sabbath
and how their rules and standards were being kept. They wanted the rest of the Jewish community
to live by a strict code of

In the 1969 case of Red Lion Broadcasting Co. v. FCC, Red Lion Broadcasting challenged the

Fred J. Cook his requested free time on air for rebuttal. As a result, the FCC supported Cook and

In other words, the doctrine had two requirements, which were a personal attack rule and a
political editorializing rule. The personal attack rule was the portion regarding the right of public
figures who had been attacked during a FCC licensed broadcast to respond to that attack. The
political editorializing rule meant that for any endorsed or opposed candidate that was spoken of
on a show, there must be reply time offered to the unspoken of candidate.
By nature of its requirements, this doctrine was less concerned with the interests of the radio
broadcasters themselves but with the interests of the listening public. Due to limited access to
radio waves the FCC was mainly concerned with public interest in getting fair and balanced
information so that they may be an informed republic and make educated decisions, especially
with regard to politics. The airwaves were a part of the public domain and under regulation of the
government and the FCC did not want the airwaves to become monopolized. Private entities do not
necessarily work for the public interest without incentive. Thus, by law the FCC only renewed
broadcast licenses to those radio stations that complied with the Fairness Doctrine.
The Court ruled on the side of the Defendant, the Federal Communication Commission and it was a
unanimous vote. Justice White wrote for the Court and he wrote that it was not possible to leave
radio waves ungoverned by the fairness doctrine due to the spectrum scarcity. The

The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Introduction
The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind is an Oscar winning alternative U.S. film released
March 19th 2004(IMDb 2015). It was produced by Focus Features and follows the dysfunctional
love story of Joel and Clementine. The film itself despite being strongly influenced by
Hollywood pays homage to other film movements such as surrealism and Soviet montage. The
film in itself was a struggle to be categorised, thought it has been described as a romance, black
comedy and many others that will later be explored. The director aimed to make this film timeless
and still stands to be as effective today as it was when it was released.
Production
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is the brainchild of director Michel Gondry and scriptwriter
Charlie Kaufman. Steve Golin on of the crew on the film was quoted saying the two complement
each other. Michel is truly gifted at visualisation. But he also has a lot of soul. Charlie is
probably the most imaginative writer that I ve had the opportunity to work with. He creates
characters and situations that are relatable but very unusual and he also has very visual ideas.
(Dugdale H 2006). The film itself has utilises rawer filming aspects than a classic Hollywood
film. Instead of C.G.I the film uses camera techniques to make the characters smaller or larger in
scale (Dugdale H 2006). The film itself was categorised under many genres including romance,
drama, science fiction, black comedy, surrealism and realism. The

No club played better in 1919, but few were paid so poorly. Many knowledgeable observers
believe that it was [White Sox president Charles] Comiskey s stinginess that is largely to blame
for the Black Sox scandal: if Comiskey had not grossly underpaid his players and treated them so
unfairly, they would never have agreed to throw the Series (www.chicagohs.org).
Another scandal that took place in those years was the Teapot Dome scandal in 1922, which was
when the Secretary of Interior, Albert B. Fall, leased federal oil reserves to business associates
that were bribing him. After President Harding had transferred supervision of the naval oil reserve
lands from the navy to the Department of the Interior in 1921, Fall secretly granted to Henry F.
Sinclair of the Mammoth Oil Company exclusive rights to the Teapot Dome reserves. He granted

The Teapot Dome scandal was one of many that took place while Harding was president. It

convicted of accepting bribes (http://en.wikipedia.org). In addition, Harding s Attorney General

12 Angry Men- Jurors 4 and 8 Essay
Reginald Rose s 12 Angry Men brings 12 jurors together in a room to decide whether a young
foreign boy is guilty of killing his father. The play is interwoven with dynamic characterisation,
striking symbolism and intense moments of drama. Although Rose positions Juror 8 as the hero,
the strongest character is in fact Juror 4, who is an independent thinker, rational and calm even as
tension begins to build. Although Juror 4 initially votes guilty, he is able to admit his fault and
change his vote.
The ability to remain independent proved to be the most important character trait of Juror 4.
Throughout the play, Rose s character is able to think freely and never lets his personal bias or peer
pressure affect his decision making. When ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Juror 4 was able to communicate his ideas and thought like a professional and did so in an
organised fashion. He analysed each piece of evidence with care and used logic and his skills of
deduction to guide his vote. Rose intended for the audience to realise that the not guilty vote was
the right choice and used Juror 4 as a catalyst for the final vote change.
Juror 4 is able to remain calm and composed throughout the most stressful of situations. While
Juror 10 exhibits racial outbursts; They get drunk , That s the way they are! , VIOLENT! ,
These people are dangerous. They re wild. Listen to me. Listen. Juror 4 sat through this entire
scene without saying a word. It is only until Juror 10 s monologue is finished that Juror 4
speaks, calmly asking Juror 10 to Shut [his] filthy mouth. Juror 4 never discredits or implies
anything towards the defendant and is always careful of what he says. After Juror 10 s tirade,
Juror 4 tries to soften the impact created by 10; Slums are potential breeding grounds for
criminals. He never attacks or hypes the situation at hand. He draws around potential possibilities.
Juror 4 initially had his doubts at the start of the case but was the only character that overcame his
predisposition based on the analysis of facts and evidence. Rose s character and only this character
had the intelligence, confidence and persistence to keep his head in the tense moment Juror 10
created.

The Case Of Malice
In a case whereby Joey, Kyle, and Jason were involved in extortion ring that coerced young boys
and girls into participating in pornography by threatening to tell their families, the defendants
would be charged with criminal intent and malice. Criminal intent is formed before an act and the
defendants had agreed to make pornographic films for the undercover policeofficer, Mulrooney.
Malice is the state of mind that constrains an individual to deliberately cause unjustifiable injury
to another person, as was the case with Joey, who kidnaps and inflicts bodily harm to a 15 year old
girl, Karen while in his garage and sexually assaults her.
Besides, Joey would be charged with kidnapping and torture for what he did to Karen. Kyle will

The Basics Of Dog Obedience Training
Dog Obedience Training | Puppy Obedience Training The Basics
Learning first Dog Obedience Training Instruction
Dog Obedience Training simply means the training of any dog. It could range from basic
(beginner s) training to a high level (advanced) competition among different clubs where more
accuracy and commands as well as performance are judged and scored. A lot of dog trainers have a
lot of fun during different competition events.
How would you know if the dog is obedient? Just start training with the basic commands and see if
it responds each time you give the command. You can consider dog obedient, instead of just
trained in obedience, when it responds reliably each and every time the command is given. Not

During this course the handler learns proper way to communicate with the dog and train it in a
few very simple commands. Most methods are designed for dog to be trained one command at a
time. A good way to start Dog Obedience Trainingis leash control (walking as it should be on a
leash). The majority of trainers require dogs to walk on a leash before learning other commands.
Once you learned control your dog on a leash, move on to the next step. When handler is training
the dog, there may or may not be a specific word attached to it. There are certain commands that
are accepted as standard and commonly used. However, it doesn t matter if they are used. It is
important though to be consistent in usage. There are five basic commands in Dog Obedience
Training:
Basic Dog Obedience Command Sit is Given to the Puppy Sit: the dog simply sits when command
is given.
Down: the dog lies down with front feet and rear legs touching the ground.
Heel: the dog s shoulder or head is close and parallel to the handler s leg.
Come (recall command): literally means to Call your dog . Very important command in dog
obedience training. You really have to perfect this

Boeing Engineering Strike Case Analysis
Negotiation Efforts: The Boeing Engineering Strike In 2000, the Boeing Company found itself in
an unprecedented crisis. Over 17,000 engineers walked off the job site in a massive strike initiative.
Attempts to end and mitigate the strike provide a backdrop for negotiation process analysis in a
collective bargaining situation. Prior to the engineering strike, Boeinggrossly underestimated the
morale and emotions of the company s engineers. The failure to connect with employee concerns
cost the company in both reputation and financial loss. The purpose of this paper is to explore the
negotiation process as it unfolded during the Boeing engineering strike.
Boeing
The Boeing Company represents the world s largest aerospace corporation and is the foremost
producer of commercial jets as well as defense, space, and security systems. Corporate offices are
located in Chicago, IL supporting Boeing s two business units: Commercial and Defense, Space,
and Security. The company boasts one of the worlds most talented, diverse, and creative pool of
employees with approximately 160,000 individuals working throughout the United States and in
more than 65 countries (The Boeing Company, 2016).

There were two main reasons. First, the organization had historically experienced one engineering
strike, in 1993, lasting only one day (Imberman, 2001). Hence, Boeing was not anticipating a strike,

and concerns, executing one way communication from the top down (Imberman, 2001).
Subsequently, Boeing was not aware of how strongly the engineers felt about the McDonnell
Douglas merger, white collar worker benefits, and the internal work culture changes brought about

Franz Kafka an Artis Hungry for Pride
In Franz Kafka s short story, A Hunger Artist , Kafka introduces an eccentric man known as the
Hunger Artist. The Hunger Artist has committed his entire life to the art of fasting, allowing
himself to be caged and displayed to the public as if he were a painting (Kafka 198). Despite all
the emotional turmoil he endures, he takes a great amount of pride in fasting and believes that
he can fast for extremely elongated periods (Kafka 200). Unfortunately, his pride not only causes
internal conflicts but also tragically leads to his unfortunate demise (Kafka 205). Through the
setting and the character development of the Hunger Artist, Kafka illuminates the dangers of
self pride and depicts pride as harmful and detrimental to one s existence. Kafka utilizes the
setting to show how the Hunger Artist is prideful and how this pride creates nothing but self
inflicted harm. Throughout the story, the Hunger Artist is always present in the confinements of
a barred cage (Kafka 198). The cage separates him from the rest of society and allows him to
show that because he is locked away he cannot possibly obtain any food that can disrupt his
fasting. This physical barrier shows how the Hunger Artist wants to make it obvious that there is
no possible way for him to search for food. He is pleased to know that he can restrict himself from
such things. Within the cage, there is little furniture and dГ©cor. Only the striking of the clock
exists in the cage to allow the Hunger Artist a sense of

The Interlopers Thesis
Thesis statement: The Story of an Hour by Kate Chopin has a unique and intelligent concept, but
is defeated by lack of story building and a rushed, badly constructed ending. The Interlopers by
Saki has a much more basic premise, but uses natural storytelling elements to create seamless story
progression and a more powerful message.
Setting
The Story of an Hour: The audience is keyed into the time period by mention of how popular
newsstands are, the lack of cell phones, and the social restrictions within marriages that Mrs.
Millard, the main character, describes. When Mrs. Millard s manic episode begins, she retires to
an armchair by an open window, symbolic of her newfound inner freedom. This creates imagery for
the audience and helps to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Consequently, said story cheats itself of a meaningful message and ending by not taking time to
create a believe and rich setting.
Suspense
The Story of an Hour: The first sentence sums up all that is wrong with suspense in this story,
Knowing that Mrs. Mallard was afflicted with a heart trouble, great care was taken to break [...]
the news of her husband s death. In The Interlopers, story pertaining details were introduced as
scene setting, a subtle plot motivating technique this story abandons. The remaining suspense is
developed entirely through Mrs. Millard s hyperactive imagination as she dreams of the future. Her
euphoric visions are repeated, and repeated again. An uneasiness is created for the sole reason that
most people know that sane people don t think this way. Ultimately, the lazy suspense building
cheapens the ending and while successfully creates tension, dissolves itself by being overly obvious
and unvaried.
The Interlopers: Organic tension is built by atmosphere, dialogue, and subtle set up of the closing
reveal, Ulrich had banded together his foresters to watch the dark forest, not in quest of four footed
quarry, but to keep a lookout for the prowling thieves whom he suspected of being afoot from across
the land boundary. The roebuck, which usually kept in the sheltered hollows during a storm wind,

that were wont to sleep through the dark hours. The

Persepolis Nationality
In yesterday s Interactive Oral Discussion, I participated in a discussion about the role of nationality
in Persepolis and how it affects Marjane s troubled quest for identity. Not only does the largely
contrasting cultures, Iran and Austria, repress and transform Satrapi, but they also cause her to
deny her identity. The Interactive Oral Discussion developed my understanding of nationalism in
regards to identity and the fears of judgement in late 20th Century Iran.

Negligible Risks
Through a joint venture franchising structure with fairly rigorous contractual stipulations Michel s
central administration were able to expand the business to China on a shoestring while still
maintaining arms length control of how the Chinese business was run. The licensee and joint
venture partner bore the financial risks, while risks of damage to the brand that a failed venture
would cause were deemed negligible due to China being so far away from the Australian market.
EXTERNAL MOTIVATIONS
Globalisation
China is becoming more westernised, particularly the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, where
demand for Western products is increasing rapidly as disposable income rises in line with China s
strong economic growth. Michel s wanted to establish a foothold in the market at an early stage to
demonstrate a long term commitment, which has been identified as essential to compete
successfully in the Shanghai market (per Tim Harcourt, Austrade Chief Economist).
China s accession to the World Trade Organisation ( WTO )
China s accession to the WTO in 2001 has helped shape its economy to becoming a more
predictable environment for trade and foreign investment. Corporate governance and frameworks
for business operations and interactions have improved, providing a much more transparent
environment. (Deckers, 2004)

The Impact of Sea Otters on Marine Ecology Essay
Sea otters (Enhydra lutris) are marine mammals capable of spending their entire lives in water.
Being carnivorous in nature, they feed on sea urchins, crabs, fishes, mussels and clams. They are
referred to as keystone species due to their profound impact on marine ecology. The interaction
between sea otters, sea urchins and kelp forests has been studied as a model of the impact of
predator prey interaction on community ecology. Sea otters are keystone predators, whose presence
has a far reaching influence on the marine food web by affecting the populationof sea urchins in
particular, and kelp forests other marine organisms in general. There has been a steep decline in sea
otterpopulations due to water pollution and exploitation for... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Kelp forests are a source of food and habitat for dozens of other coastal species (qtd. in SoulГ© et
al 1240). Therefore, to maintain the diversity and richness of the coastal marine ecology, kelp
forests should be preserved.
Impact of sea otters on community ecology
The presence or absence of sea otters influences marine ecology at the community level. Studies
have shown that kelp forests enhance the underwater environment, providing a suitable habitat
for fishes. The declining kelp beds in California in the mid 1900 s propelled the Kelp Habitat
Improvement Project, whereby attempts were made to eliminate sea urchins that are primary
predators of kelps. Studies showed that the elimination of sea otters during the 1800s from the
Californian waters might be responsible for the dwindling numbers of kelp forests. Further
studies have also shown that the population density of sea otters affects seaweed biodiversity as
well. In a study conducted in Alaska on three different bays, the Torch Bay, Deer Harbor and the
Surge Bay, it was found that the presence of sea otters led to a decrease in the population of sea
urchins, which led to an increase in the population of seaweeds. In addition, it was also found that
annual kelps predominated the areas where sea otters were present, and perennial kelps
predominated in areas that had lesser sea otter populations (qtd. in Interaction with kelps sea otters
). As is evident, sea otters are

Compatibilism Free Will
In the discussion of free will, one controversial issue has been that we do not have free will. On
the one hand, determinists argue that every event has a cause and that concept of free will is
false reality because it cannot be explained by the scientific process. On the other hand,
libertarians believe the opposite is true. Whereas, others like compatibilists argue both beliefs is
correct in the sense that we have to change the meaning of freedom. My own view is that the
position of the compatibilists solves the problem. I believe in compatibilism because both
arguments is presented in our world. For example, we know there is a cause for every event,
whether it be from the natural world or from our decisions. For instance, in the natural

people by using insects to compare them to Satan s evil schemes that catch one into entangling
sins. Taylor uses a fly to describe the people that were weak, and fell easily into Satan s web that

sin by fighting off the spider, showing strength and courage. He emphasizes these characters so
that he can encourage Puritans of this time to fight off the sins that trouble them, and God will

Quality of Judicial Performance
The quality of judicial performance Quality of judicial performance The performance of judges
can be measured, generally speaking, by the ability of the judges. There are some methods used
to measure the performances of judges for this purpose. These include a review of the past
performance of the judges. Here, the judges are gauged according to citations to prior judgments,
affirmation of the judges by higher courts and the ability to produce and put pressure. The judges
may also be measured by their native talents and experiences whereby issues of the number of
years a particular judge has been working at the lower courts and the quality of the law school they
might have attended. Another measure for the quality of judges is depreciating ability; some judges
performance may decline due to cognitive impairments, while others may gain experience over
time. These measures are geared towards ensuring that a high quality of judicial performance is
guaranteed and maintained (Choi et al, 2011). Absolute immunity Absolute immunity involves
protection of government officials from legal action. This protection though does not include the
intentional or malicious engagement in criminal acts by the officer. For example, in the case of
King v. Simpson (1999), the parole board members were given absolute immunity to deny or grant
parole (Alarid Carmen, 2010). Qualified immunity This type of immunity focuses more on the
executive officers and exonerates any wrong doing by the

Essay on Functionalism in Education
Having attended public schools throughout my childhood and adolescence, I never was familiar
with the term functionalism and its many elements. After observing and analyzing my field
placement classroom I have come to understand the concept of functionalism to some extent. In
general, functionalists see schools as serving to socialize students to adapt to the economic,
political, and social institutions of that society (Feinberg, p.6, 2004). They also theorize that in
order for societies to survive, they must carry out vital functions such as, attaining fundamental
knowledge and acquiring essential skills and proficiency, acknowledging certain norms and values
within their community, and recognizing authority figures. It is also... Show more content on

As soon as their teacher, Mrs. Root asked them to settle down, they instantly became silent. This
is an example of an unspoken expectation of the teacher and is one of many hidden curriculums
that I witnessed in the classroom. Another instance was during instruction; Mrs. Root had asked a
question pertaining to shapes and who ever knew the answer, demonstrated this particular hidden
curriculum by raising their hand. The functionalist concept, hidden curriculum, is best defined as
organizational features and routines of school life that provide the structure needed to develop
the psychological dispositions appropriate for work and citizenship in industrial society
(Feinberg, p. 21, 2004). It is intended to assist in achieving norms, learning one s position in
society, and how to think of oneself. Hidden curriculum has also been explained as making the
transition from family to the real world less difficult. This concept applies to the examples I gave
because when the teacher asked the students to settle down, they instantly knew that they needed
to follow directions. The idea that teachers are authority figures and deserve to be respected is
instilled in children at a very young age and is expected to be upheld. As for students raising their
hands when wanting to speak or answer a question, this has also been implanted in children s
minds and is a norm in today s society. I conducted my second

Animal Farm Power Of Language
Animal Farm Essay
The novel Animal Farm was created by George Orwell in 1945. It was a story on how animals
rebelled against the humans and tried to live freely, but a main point in the novel was about the
power of language. Orwell shows in his book that the power of language can make characters act
differently. Some of the animals use the power of language for evil things while others did not.
George Orwell demonstrates the power of language in his book, Animal Farm, by using it
manipulatively on different characters.
Orwell demonstrates the power of language using Napoleon. Napoleon is portrayed in the book by
intimidating other animals, slaughtering animals and by being a sloth. Napoleon uses the English
language to mesmerize and gain power in Animal Farm. Snowball which only wanted the best for

These files are proprietary and cannot be read by any other software package available to the average consumer. If you use QuickBooks to store and manipulate your company s financial data, it will become crucial that you take steps to protect this data. Given enough time, the most reliable PC will have some sort of hardware malfunction. But what to do when the company file becomes corrupted? It is important to realize that using the same version of QuickBooks to restore the file as it was backed up is recommended and that trying to restore a backup file (QBB) using an older version of QuickBooks than the file was created in may not work. Obviously, you will need a computer with an installed version of QuickBooks. • 6. Juvenile Rights Of Juveniles The Rights of juveniles Juveniles also have rights that look out for their best interest. According to, Delinquency and Juvenile Justice in American Society, Sheldon provides the rights that juveniles are granted. The supreme court ruled that when a judge considers whether to transfer a case from juvenile court to an adult court, a juvenile is entitled to a hearing and has the right to counsel. The court must provide a written statement giving the reasons for the waiver, and the defense counsel must be given access to all records and reports used in reaching the decision to waive. Often times juveniles rights are waived or broken due to lack of proper legal representation. (Sheldon, 2006) In the case of Gault, they argued that the juvenile code of Arizona was unconstitutional: The justices found in favor of Gault include (1) adequate written notice of charges, (2) the right to counsel, (3) privilege against self incrimination, (4) the right to cross examine accusers, (5) a transcript of the proceedings, and (6) the right to appellate review. (Gault, 2002) Nevertheless, more recent studies indicates that the system today has failed to deliver the procedural justice promised by gault. For example, misconduct which includes forcing unprepared parties to proceed with trial or a guilty plea, interrupting the lawyers witness examinations with their own questions, and cutting off lawyers questioning. It was also revealed , two thirds of the surveyed court workers noted that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Despite very promising features of the newly developed nanostructured sorbent materials, basically exploring and systematic investigations are needed on both synthesis methods and adsorptioncharacteristic studies (Deng 2006). The goal of nanotechnology is to make nanostructures or nano arrays with special properties, which do not exist in their bulk or single particle types. Both houses were descendants of two of the sons of Edward III. The House of Lancaster, descended from John of Gaunt, was represented by a Red Rose. Evaluation Of A Risk Corridor For clarification a risk corridor is a formed idea that if insurance companies rake in higher cost than expected the government will reimburse the insurer to a certain percentage. As an example, if an insurer s actual claims in 2014 are at least 3% greater than the claims projected when the insurer set 2014 rates, the government must reimburse the insurer for half of the excess (Radnofsky, 2014). On top of that, if total claims jump 8% the government would be liable for 80% of the excess costs. This is a really risky move because the unhealthy population with insurance could be extremely costly. In other words, the doctrine had two requirements, which were a personal attack rule and a political editorializing rule. The personal attack rule was the portion regarding the right of public figures who had been attacked during a FCC licensed broadcast to respond to that attack. The political editorializing rule meant that for any endorsed or opposed candidate that was spoken of on a show, there must be reply time offered to the unspoken of candidate. By nature of its requirements, this doctrine was less concerned with the interests of the radio broadcasters themselves but with the interests of the listening public. Due to limited access to radio waves the FCC was mainly concerned with public interest in getting fair and balanced information so that they may be an informed republic and make educated decisions, especially with regard to politics. The Hunger Artist has committed his entire life to the art of fasting, allowing himself to be caged and displayed to the public as if he were a painting (Kafka 198). Despite all the emotional turmoil he endures, he takes a great amount of pride in fasting and believes that he can fast for extremely elongated periods (Kafka 200). Unfortunately, his pride not only causes internal conflicts but also tragically leads to his unfortunate demise (Kafka 205). Kelp forests are a source of food and habitat for dozens of other coastal species (qtd. in SoulГ© et al 1240). Therefore, to maintain the diversity and richness of the coastal marine ecology, kelp forests should be preserved. Impact of sea otters on community ecology The presence or absence of sea otters influences marine ecology at the community level. Studies have shown that kelp forests enhance the underwater environment, providing a suitable habitat for fishes. The declining kelp beds in California in the mid 1900 s propelled the Kelp Habitat Improvement Project, whereby attempts were made to eliminate sea urchins that are primary predators of kelps. Studies showed that the elimination of sea otters during the 1800s from the Californian waters might be responsible for the dwindling numbers of kelp forests. Further studies have also shown that the population density of sea otters affects seaweed biodiversity as well. In a study conducted in Alaska on three different bays, the Torch Bay, Deer Harbor and the Surge Bay, it was found that the presence of sea otters led to a decrease in the population of sea urchins, which led to an increase in the population of seaweeds. In addition, it was also found that annual kelps predominated the areas where sea otters were present, and perennial kelps predominated in areas that had lesser sea otter populations (qtd. in Interaction with kelps sea otters ). Taylor uses a fly to describe the people that were weak, and fell easily into Satan s web that would bring them to death. He later compares the fly to a wasp, that frees itself from the net of sin by fighting off the spider, showing strength and courage. He emphasizes these characters so that he can encourage Puritans of this time to fight off the sins that trouble them, and God will protect them if they are willing. By referring to Satan as the spider that spin[s] a web out of thyself, he is warning the people to have courage, and go against the sins that so easily entangle, which is also said in the bible. • 53. Quality of Judicial Performance The quality of judicial performance Quality of judicial performance The performance of judges can be measured, generally speaking, by the ability of the judges. There are some methods used to measure the performances of judges for this purpose. These include a review of the past performance of the judges. Here, the judges are gauged according to citations to prior judgments, affirmation of the judges by higher courts and the ability to produce and put pressure. The judges may also be measured by their native talents and experiences whereby issues of the number of years a particular judge has been working at the lower courts and the quality of the law school they might have attended. Another measure for the quality of judges is depreciating ability; some judges performance may decline due to cognitive impairments, while others may gain experience over time. These measures are geared towards ensuring that a high quality of judicial performance is guaranteed and maintained (Choi et al, 2011). Absolute immunity Absolute immunity involves protection of government officials from legal action. This protection though does not include the intentional or malicious engagement in criminal acts by the officer. For example, in the case of King v. Simpson (1999), the parole board members were given absolute immunity to deny or grant parole (Alarid Carmen, 2010). Qualified immunity This type of immunity focuses more on the executive officers and exonerates any wrong doing by the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 54. Essay on Functionalism in Education Having attended public schools throughout my childhood and adolescence, I never was familiar with the term functionalism and its many elements. After observing and analyzing my field placement classroom I have come to understand the concept of functionalism to some extent. In general, functionalists see schools as serving to socialize students to adapt to the economic, political, and social institutions of that society (Feinberg, p.6, 2004). They also theorize that in order for societies to survive, they must carry out vital functions such as, attaining fundamental knowledge and acquiring essential skills and proficiency, acknowledging certain norms and values within their community, and recognizing authority figures. It is also... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As soon as their teacher, Mrs. Root asked them to settle down, they instantly became silent. This is an example of an unspoken expectation of the teacher and is one of many hidden curriculums that I witnessed in the classroom. Another instance was during instruction; Mrs. Root had asked a question pertaining to shapes and who ever knew the answer, demonstrated this particular hidden curriculum by raising their hand. The functionalist concept, hidden curriculum, is best defined as organizational features and routines of school life that provide the structure needed to develop the psychological dispositions appropriate for work and citizenship in industrial society (Feinberg, p. 21, 2004). It is intended to assist in achieving norms, learning one s position in society, and how to think of oneself. Hidden curriculum has also been explained as making the transition from family to the real world less difficult. This concept applies to the examples I gave because when the teacher asked the students to settle down, they instantly knew that they needed to follow directions. The idea that teachers are authority figures and deserve to be respected is instilled in children at a very young age and is expected to be upheld. As for students raising their hands when wanting to speak or answer a question, this has also been implanted in children s minds and is a norm in today s society. I conducted my second ... • 55. Animal Farm Power Of Language Animal Farm Essay The novel Animal Farm was created by George Orwell in 1945. It was a story on how animals rebelled against the humans and tried to live freely, but a main point in the novel was about the power of language. Orwell shows in his book that the power of language can make characters act differently. Some of the animals use the power of language for evil things while others did not. George Orwell demonstrates the power of language in his book, Animal Farm, by using it manipulatively on different characters. Orwell demonstrates the power of language using Napoleon. Napoleon is portrayed in the book by intimidating other animals, slaughtering animals and by being a sloth. Napoleon uses the English language to mesmerize and gain power in Animal Farm. Mr. Jonathan Lovekin, the Senior Engineering Geologist for the Colorado Geological Survey stated that the geologic hazards at this site are challenging and have not been fully evaluated or addressed at that time. While the assessment cannot take into account final site conditions for lots 4 and 5, which will not be determined until there is a specific construction plan for each lot, it does show that reasonable mitigation is possible under the current conditions. Boulders that are lying on the ground surface, such as those observed just below Cedar Drive, could be disturbed by various causes and begin rolling.
