3. Phrase
• A Phrase is a group of words used as a
sentence part. It does not have a subject and
a verb. It does not give complete sense.

6. Adverb Phrase
• An Adverb phrase is a group of words that
does work of an Adverb. An Adverb phrase,
like an adverb, may modify also an adjective
or adverb. E.g.

• A Noun Phrase is a group of words that does
