Sibariano Desserto aspires to offer high quality cakes and
pastries at a competitive price, that will create a loyal customer
base.
3. Sibariano Desserto will be a start-up Cakes and Pastries shop
located inside the Sinhgad Institute’s Campus at Kondhwa.
The cake and pastry shop will expect to catch the interest of a
regular loyal customer base which will comprise students of
Sinhgad Institutes besides local residents of Kondhwa.
4. Sibariano Desserto will offer a range of cake and pastries with
flavours such as:
Vanilla
Rose Petal
Raspberry Fudge
Red Velvet
Chocolate
Strawberry
5. Cakes and Pastries happen to be a favourite with students
and the middle-aged. With little or no health concerns like
diabetes, acidity and obesity in this age-group, cakes and
pastries offer an attractive and healthy source of sugar and
energy.
6. The startup will earn a good reputation in the Sinhgad Institute campus
through its ‘Experimental Friday’s’ initiative wherein members of the cake and
pastry shop will distribute 100 cakes and pastries on alternate Friday’s in the
year 2015 - 16 to 100 students and staff.
After receiving encouragement from the students and the staff members we
will present this business plan to the Management of SIBAR. We hope to
receive an in-principle approval to financially support the start up for an initial
period of three years following which a review would be taken to further
develop the business plan into a full-fledged business.
The student members will approach the Bank of Kondhwa for loan. We
understand that the Bank can submit the proposal under the ‘Pradhan Mantri
Earn and Learn’ scheme floated by the Government of India under its ‘Make
in India’ initiative.
7. Our competitive edge will be our popularity among the
students and the staff of Sinhgad Institutes.
We will invent new flavours and recipes regularly to keep our
product offering fun and interesting and to motivate our
customers to return to Sibariano Desserto Cakes and Pastries
shop.
