Parts of a Business Letter
Sender’s Address: top of the letter one line above
the date - only street address, city, and zip code
Date: use American date format
Inside Address: recipient’s address
Salutation: same as inside address, including the personal title
Body: single space, left justify, and leave a blank line between each
paragraph
Closing: capitalize the first word only and leave 4 lines between
the closing & the sender’s name (for a signature)

are tabbed to the center point and begin to type
Semi-Block: each paragraph is indented instead of left
