3. The Cartoons’ Origins
All 5 cartoons are the work of Ali Almossawi
and Alejandro Giraldo. Each is taken from
their joint publication titled: “An Illustration
Book of Bad Arguments”. Many reviews
suggest that this book should “be in every
school curriculum” and that the cartoons are
“charming and intuitive”. Both authors claim
that the illustrations were inspired by Orwell’s
“Animal Farm” and the drawings of Lewis
Carroll.
