The business decisions can be justified with the help of the information based on which they are taken. The decisions play an effective role in a business context if they are taken by analyzing their quality and feasibility. So the business decisions are needed to be analysed and justified with the help of appropriate tools.

Retention Convention 2010

An online survey of pupils’ experiences of eating disorders - journal article
Background: Eating disorders (ED) have a peak rate of onset in school-aged children. Little is known about pupils’ experiences of ED within a school setting.
Method: Five hundred and eleven 11- to 19-year-old school pupils completed an online questionnaire exploring their experiences of ED (72% female, 28% male). Responses were analysed using content analysis principles.
Results: Of the participants, 38% had a current or past ED, 49% of these had never received a formal diagnosis. Of the respondents, 59% saw a need to raise ED
awareness. Only 7% would confide in a teacher about an ED.
Conclusions: Efforts are needed to break down
barriers to disclosure and support teachers to play an effective role in the detection and early intervention for
ED.

Introduction
Public charter schools are those schools that operate under a performance contract hence that renders them free from a lot of regulations created for traditional public schools whereas making them accountable for financial and academic results. Such schools are more autonomous in school size, staff, choice of curriculum, budget, lengths of the school day and they stand accountable for charter review, and result in production. Therefore, it is important to have the study that compared the effectiveness of the two different school systems so as to establish which if the two is suitable for the American child and society.
Research questions
1. What is the financial performance doe Charter Schools exhibit among as compared to Traditional schools?
2. What academic impacts do Public Charter Schools exhibit among students as compared to Traditional schools?
3. What staffing differences do the Charter Schools exhibit as compared to Traditional schools?
Statement of the problem
Up to date, charter schools are run in 40 states with about 5000 charter schools in the entire US where more than 1.5 million students learn. The number of this kind of schools is increasing with time but they are selectively within states and mostly in the urban regions. Sometimes these schools are closed for lacing funds or posting poor performance. A debate on the reliability and effectiveness of Public charter schools in comparison with traditional schools has been there for a while. Innovation Ohio (2013) claim that charter schools tend to have unfair funding as compared to traditional schools. According to Silvernail & Johnson (2014) even though certain researchers have claimed that charter schools are better than traditional ones in terms of performance, the diversity of context, designs, financial capacity, and many other factors make it difficult to have universal results about it. Furthermore, Jefferson County Public Schools (2010) opine that since the opponents or advocates of charter schools are the ones who report about it, research studies on the effectiveness of such schools has been biasedly reported. Therefore, such as topic requires objective study of a party who has no interest in anything apart from acquiring the truth about the society.

In this research I opted to study and check the student feelings toward the institution. As
expected a number of individuals apply to join Capella University but unfortunately not all are
always allow to join. Some try to send their joining application requisition forms as most as 3 to
even 4 or 5 times before their applications are accepted. I decided to find out how the students
were accepted on their first application or they had to do subsequent application before being
accepted into the University.
I also to check on the whether the students were really enjoying their time at the school. This was
necessitated by the fact that while others might have joined Capella University as a result of their
own passion and vision; others were forced to join by forces beyond their own strength. This
might be family ties with the institution, fathers’ placement of the University position or even
forced by an elder sibling whom went through the institution and turned out successful.
However, being part of the institution does not imply that all those schooling within the environs
of Capella are enjoying their stay. That was part of the reason why I thought it good to make an
enquiry of how they felt being part of the institution.
As a student one knows when they are growing professionally by checking their current
knowledge base with what they were or had previously. This is anchored on many factors one of
them being the competency of the staff taking them through their academics. I decided to ask the
students whether they felt the academic life at Capella was making a significant difference to
their professional lives and if they felt the staff were competent enough to see them through their
college life and help them advance to professional life.

All these were meant to help me get a better view of the student feelings about their university
and suited they felt they were. Part of the questions were how long they thought they would stay
before landing a Job they moment they were through with college life and how long they had
already in school. The students had contradicting feeling about the time they expected to get a
job. While some were optimistic seeing only less than year, the skeptical ones felt they would
wait up to 5 years before they would get one.

Faculty Research Opportunity
This study will examine specific stressors experienced by faculty members related to demographics, work environment, discipline, teaching hours, and working conditions. It will also identify strategies to improve the balance between workload and personal time. Faculty who participate will complete an anonymous online survey that asks about their perceptions of being a faculty member and takes approximately 15 minutes. There are no risks to participating, and responses will remain confidential with identifying information removed. The goal is to provide institutions of higher education information to better support faculty needs.
