Bullying is a specific type of aggression where one person intends to harm or disturb another person through repeated behavior over time and where there is an imbalance of power. Statistics show that 1 in 4 kids are bullied. Both victims and bullies face negative consequences, with victims experiencing depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem, and bullies being more likely to engage in criminal behavior. To address bullying, professionals from many fields must work together to implement effective anti-bullying programs and policies.
