Social Impact of the Iu Mien Structures From 2001 to 2008, Iu Mien youth detention in Alameda County has decreased by 66% (National Council on Crime and Delinquency). From 2001 to 2008, the high school graduation rate increased. From 2001 to 2008, Iu Mien enrollment in colleges, universities, and graduate schools increased. More than 75% of the Iu Mien in the San Francisco Bay Area are homeowners.
