Partner with District Manager to leverage sales and profit opportunities in areas of Asset Protection,
Operations, P&L, Safety and Environmental Compliance, Shrink Management, Markdown Control, Theft &
Fraud, Work Place Violence, Business Continuity and Crisis Management. Responsible for teaching,
coaching, and training leadership and associates regarding implementation of initiatives without adding
complexity to store operations. Evaluate operational processes for areas of opportunity, with regular
follow-ups of identified deficient areas and executing game plans to address.

• Responsible for the operational aspects of 9 store locations throughout Southeast Louisiana and
Southern Mississippi ranging in annual sales volume for $20-$65 million each.

Store Manager (2005 to 2011)
Responsible for the complete day-to-day operations, profitability and performance of a $50 million Home
Depot retail store. Led 141 store associates and directly supervised 5 Assistant Store Managers and 15
Department Supervisors. Managed Human Resources process including selection, recruitment, training,
development and employee relations. Responsible for maximizing store sales by having a comprehensive
knowledge of Home Depot’s business, understanding the competition and customer base. Developed
strategies and objectives, and led team of associates in execution.
• Promoted to District Operations Manager in 2011.
• 2011: Transferred to Store 0362 for beginning of Q2. Achieved sales plan and Success Sharing
for 1st
Half in spite of store being down $300k after Q1.
• During tenure in LaPlace, mentored 3 ASMs into promotions to SMs and 4 Dept. Supervisors into
promotions to ASMs, more than the entire district combined.
• 2010: Finished Q1 as the 6th
ranked store out of 131 in the Gulf Region.
• 2009: Continued to run a profitable store. Achieved Store Controllable Operating Profit Plan by
2.4%. Exceeded GMROI by 7 bps. Increased Likelihood to Recommend store to 9.02, a 30 bps
improvement.
• 2008: Exceeded sales plan by 6.4% and successfully managed operational financial goals and
store profit including payroll, occupancy, operations, inventory turnover and GMROI. Reduced
shrink by $200,000 year over year. Grew service leads 63.5% over 2007.

• 2007: Achieved operational budget as percent to sales, reduced workman’s comp claims by 20%,
reduced general liability claims by 19% and exceeded Tool Rental Sales plan by 40.71%.
• 2006: Exceeded sales plan by $3M, or 7.61% over goal, and outpaced store operating profit by
9.18% ($805,202). Finished the year with 15.49% year over year sales growth.
• 2005: Assumed control of store management immediately following Hurricane Katrina and
oversaw store expansion from $300,000 to $1.2M sales per week. Guided store through major
business and operational changes, including growing staffing by 50% while realigning traditional

Assistant Store Manager/Store Leadership Program (2004-2005)

Aggressive training program focused on producing Store Managers. Training built around multiple four-
month rotations and provided in operations, merchandising and support functions.
THE UNITED STATES ARMY, Captain, Ordnance Corps. 1999 to 2003
Deputy Support Operations Officer (2002-2003)
Supervised the maintenance operations, transportation and distribution assets for a Brigade Combat
Team comprised of over 1,500 vehicles and associated automated systems. Advised management on all
maintenance and supply issues. Provided logistical coordination between multiple levels of maintenance
and supply support to include both military and civilian agencies.
• Chosen to serve as maintenance liaison between Fort Lewis, Washington and Fort Knox,
Kentucky for a Congressionally-mandated vehicle validation exercise.
Company Executive Officer (2001-2002)
Supervised all company organizational maintenance and acted as the company’s primary combat service
support planner and coordinator. Responsible for the care and accountability of all property valued at
$17.5 million. Trainer, supervisor and mentor of over 15 non-commissioned officers and soldiers.

of all direct support maintenance provided to 31 customer units within the Brigade.
