We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Researchers have revealed our ability to contemplate, meditate, and even pray has declined the more we engage in the digital world. Also, studies show that digital natives prefer arbitrary activity to meditation, looking more for “stimulation”.
- 23. Technology and Spirituality Affects our overall attentiveness and ability to experience proper fellowship.
- 24. Family Dynamics Sense of family unity has taken a massive dive in recent years, with both parents and children being over engaged in technology.
- 25. Cause and Effect Studies show that sleep deprivation (caused from being on our phones at night) can cause a form of pseudo ADD. Parents admit that they feel pressure because they’re children want to be “cool” and “everyone does it” and don’t want them to feel left out.
- 26. Solutions For now: Set limitations and boundaries on the time spent on your phone. Be sure to know how to disconnect from the digital world, and not the real one. In the future: If kids complain they’re bored, have planned activities to do with them!
