BRACERO
CONSTRUCTION
 A lot of planning went in to the creation of Bracero. From
storyboards to idea mind maps it was a long process.
 Once the story had been decided upon I then had to put a lot
of thought into shooting locations.
I decided to shoot it in the English countryside because I felt
it had the terrain which could best represent that of some
rural places in Mexico.
 I then had to arrange each part of the story into individual
scenes as well as draw camera set-up diagrams for each one.
 I then completed my script and chose the technology I would
be using as well as my desired cast.
PLANNING
 Once it was time to shoot I had a clear image in my head of
what I wanted and how I would make it happen.
 We wasted no time on site and followed the storyboard in
order of scenes. I wanted my first shot to be just before
sunset so we had to be quick setting up the gear.
 I used an all terrain golf cart to move the equipment safely
around so that nothing would me damaged.
 I gave my crew clear instructions in order to help them see
what I wanted each shot to look like.
SHOOTING
 Once on the editing stage of the process I uploaded all of my
footage into iMovie. I spent a long time selecting the best
shots and trimming them to fit the planned shot lengths. I
then adjusted each of the visual effects such as contrast on
every one of the shots.
 Once I had my final film it was time to add titles. I decided to
use Final Cut Pro for my titles as it has a much wider and
more flexible range of options which are customizable. I
exported my film from iMovie into Final Cut Pro.
 Once my titles were done I watched my film many times with
the crew and made sure everything was perfect. Then I
uploaded it to YouTube.
EDITING
 Once Bracero was on YouTube I started to promote it. I shared
the link Through multiple social media platforms including
Twitter and Facebook.
 I also set up a Facebook page called Bracero so that fans
could receive updates and promotions from the film.
