Neutralization curve
A neutralization curve is a plot of the pH of a solution as a
function of the volume of a titrant added during an acid-base
titration. The shape of the curve depends on the strength of the
acid and base involved, as well as the concentration and volume
of the solutions being titrated.
The curve is useful in:
1- Determining whether a sharp end point can be observed or not, this is
indicated by characteristic inflection of the curve.
2- To choose the suitable indicator.
The suitable indicator is that having transition interval(its range)
at pH of equivalence point.
