Why are astronauts more likely to develop osteoporosis than others ?

•We put a bone in acid for a
couple of houres and then we
checked the hardness of the
bone comparing with a normal
bone.
•We ripped a piece of drilled
and a non-drilled cardboard
and compared the resistance
of both.
•We placed a bone in acid for 50
minutes and we checked the
hardness of the bone comparing
with a normal bone.
•We drilled a piece of cardboard
and we tested it's resisance.
Then we compared it with the
resistence of a non-drilled but
similar piece of cardboard.

5. Results :
1) The bone we placed in the acid broke faster
than the bone that didn't lay in acid.
2) The perforated cardboard is easier to rip than
the normal cardboard.

6. Conclusion :
Yes, they lose more than
1% bone mass each
month in space. That's
why their bones break
faster.
