Petition Fell through for Oklahoma Schools, a campaign called Take Shelter Oklahoma is trying to

to display time passing and to build or lesson the drama to transition to the next scene. In photography

Throughout the film there are many aerial shots of canyons especially in chapter two, Organic. The
first canyon image in the movie is an aerial shot of what looks like the Grand Canyon. There is uneven
rock formation rows in front of each other. The sunlight is coming from behind the camera, creating
deep shadows on the front of the first valley and it creates deep shadows on the valley behind it. This
shot moves very slowly across this area and then cuts to several close up shots of parts of the canyon,
these images are low contrast they are mostly orange without distinct harsh shadows. After the
closeups, there are more aerial shots of the canyon. With each shot the valleys get shallower and the
contrast lowers. The shadows are less distinct as the land flattens, the land also has more and greener
as it gets flatter, one of the last canyon shot we see before the transition to the next chapter shows the
sun rising over completely flat desert like land in the area. For this chapter the filmmakers used
regression of contrast to create transition from one scene to the next. The flattening in land with the
lowering in contrast also shows time and how what used to be vibrant, with harsh and distinct lines

I actually REALLY enjoyed this book. I received the novel as a gift from a family friend over the
summer but only really got around to reading it recently and, I have to say, I have never read anything
quite this unique.
The meaning of life is plot number 2 in the book, and, it was equally as entertaining as the mischief
that transpired between Arthur and his gang, consisting of Ford Perfect, an alien named Zaphod, and

they ask the computer what the meaning of life is, and it reveals that it will take a few billion years to
process a coherent answer. When the answer is finally processed, it is than revealed that a more
powerful computer is out there somewhere. That computer is Earth, and, yadda yadda, Earth was
annihilated five minutes before it was finished processing, causing the mice to want Arthur s brain so
the true nature of life can be revealed to them.

The Beat Generation an inspiration to many
The beat generation was a movement that sought to oppose American society values, and any sort of
control. They explored Eastern religions, was somewhat postmodernism, rejected the materialistic
culture, spoke about drugs, our conscious mind, and fought for sexual liberation and exploration with
their unapologetically offensive language. While reading the novel Jitterbug Perfume written by Tom
Robbin, one can witness how the novel exhibits aspects of the beat literature, and thus concluding that
the beat generation served as inspiration to Tom Robbin.
The beat generation was focused on expanding the conscious mind, whether it was with the use of
drugs, Yoga, meditation, and most commonly the use of spiritual eastern religion. According to the
article, The Beat Generation and Buddhist Religion , the beat generation believed that Eastern
spirituality provided a better pathway leading toward ecstasy rather than spiritual stagnation and

These distinction sections were noticeable because of changes in energy levels and changes in the
tempo of the music. To me this also represents the different periods we may go through in life. Our
emotions, circumstances, and relationships are constantly changing as we go throughout our lives.
