This rubric provides criteria for evaluating iPad apps for use in the classroom. It assesses apps on their relevance to students and academic instruction, the feedback and engagement they provide users, customization options, usability and ease of navigation, and reviews of the app source/vendor. Apps are rated on a scale of 1 to 3 in each category, with 3 being the highest score. The rubric is intended as a guide to evaluate apps' suitability for classroom use.
