1. Tahir Mahmood ­ CEO Tiqniat Inc
Tahir is an entrepreneurial spirited Technologist with over
25 years of extensive IT experience. Tahir did try to
escape into the fashion sector but the blood that flows
through his veins is by now so saturated with code that he
continues to innovate and invent in the tech space to
manage his addiction.
The inventor of “Push E­mail” that became the product
known as the “BlackBerry” by Research In Motion (RIM).
A former employee of Microsoft from the 80’s where he
was the Tech Lead for Operating Systems and
Programming Languages. A Strategic Partner with Apple
who was instrumental in bringing about the concept of
their retail and premier re­seller stores and not forgetting
a certified Fashion Stylist and Professional Makeup Artist.
Tahir’s latest projects encompass the Healthcare and
Cybersecurity world where he is engaged in using and
implementing the Blockchain technology so has first­hand
knowledge of its ecosystem.
