Model 1 is easier to regulate and QC, less attorneys.
Also quicker to get started. However, provides
fewer options to our customers.
Model 2 blast email to our existing base of lawyers
and attempt to sign up firms that way
Referral/Claims process
• Advantageous to us if utilization rate is low
• Is it feasible to transition the claims process almost entirely online?
(Report has approx 50% of all esurance claims are made online
growing 10-20% annually)
• Significantly reduces costs
• Still need a telephone presence, just a reduced size
• Does the insurance model translate, relies on the end user being
able to submit the case in a way we can send out to the appropriate
attorney. Currently about 10-15 % of our user submitted referrals
are receiving a follow-up call to clarify their case details. However,
would the attorneys want to know that a case has been
professionally vetted before being referred.
• Concern about going exclusively online is dealing with the novice
consumer (Customer comes to us because they can’t find an
attorney’s phone number)

Also quicker to get started. However, provides fewer options to our customers. Model 2 blast email to our existing base of lawyers and attempt to sign up firms that way
  • 6. Referral/Claims process • Advantageous to us if utilization rate is low • Is it feasible to transition the claims process almost entirely online? (Report has approx 50% of all esurance claims are made online growing 10-20% annually) • Significantly reduces costs • Still need a telephone presence, just a reduced size • Does the insurance model translate, relies on the end user being able to submit the case in a way we can send out to the appropriate attorney. Currently about 10-15 % of our user submitted referrals are receiving a follow-up call to clarify their case details. However, would the attorneys want to know that a case has been professionally vetted before being referred. • Concern about going exclusively online is dealing with the novice consumer (Customer comes to us because they can’t find an attorney’s phone number)
