BIOMECH
ANICS
 Biomechanics is the science of
movement of a living body, such as how
muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments
work together to produce movement.
 Biomechanists use the principles of
physical mechanics combined with the
principles of biology to understand how
people move and how they can move
more efficiently and why we sometimes
get injured and how can we reduce
injuries.

outside occasionally to test in the real world

muscle movements and knowledge of how the body works.
• There are many different career paths due to its natural diversity

• It is predominantly a desk job
• It takes about 5 years to get into the field
• You start of getting paid very minimally
