Aims of the Beyond Partnership project

Aims of this project are to investigate/address:
2. whether the current nature of partnership working in the delivery of
ITT is sustainable
3. the adequacy of development opportunities for those involved in
the delivery of ITT, including those who are based in higher
education institutions, schools and other settings
4. the ways in which the current system reflects ITT’s capacity to
evolve to meet the needs of 21st century schools, and the ways in
which ITT school partnerships can offer an infrastructure for
training and development of the whole children’s workforce in
schools

This presentation is very much focused on our model, and while only half way through the current year's program, we are already seeing great things as: 1) the course actively engages student concerns, and supports them as they develop a business case for change 2) The course is not an elective, but is part of the core curriculum (i.e. required for graduation), and integrates with other core topics (finance, operations, marketing, etc) 3) The course is tangible. Lessons learned through the first semester are put into place through the second semester partnership.
