Bermuda Triangle
“The Devil’s triangle”
Overview:
+ We will discuss
-What is Bermuda triangle???
- The location of Bermuda triangle.
- Discovery of Bermuda triangle.
- Different theories related to this triangle.
- The incidences that had occurred in this
triangle.
•The Bermuda Triangle is an
area of water in the Atlantic
Ocean and Caribbean Sea.
•It goes from Miami, Florida to
San Juan, Puerto Rico to
Bermuda.
•The Bermuda Triangle covers
about 1.2 million miles.
The Bermuda Triangle
Location:
•Disappearance of ships,
small boats, and aircraft.
•YouTube - Photographic proof of the Bermud
•Over 8,000 people have
disappeared in the
Triangle.
•There has also been
strange yellow fog seen
in that area.
People have had
instruments such as a
compass stop working
while in the Triangle.
Mystery Of
Bermuda
triangle
In 1492 Christopher
Columbus was on his
journey, which would
lead him to the West
Indies. He noted that the
ships compass was
acting strangely and
giving inaccurate
readings in the Sargasso
Sea, and at one point he
saw a frat hall of fire
shoot across the sky and
crash into the sea.
Discovery Of Bermuda
Triangle
Though these lives lost
are tragedies, this is not
that incredible of a figure.
It is how they died that
have sparked many
legends. These flames
were given fuel by V.
Gaddis article in "Argosy:
Magazine of Masterpiece
Fiction" where the term
"Bermuda Triangle" was
first used.

THEORIES
Many theories have been given to explain the
extraordinary mystery of these missing ships and
planes.
Sci-Fi Theory
Magnetic Force Theory
Gas Bubble Theory
Gulf Stream
Tropical weather
Alien’s theory
Sci-Fi Theory
it could be........
The “MONSTERS”
Contd…
•One theory is that a giant sea animal
lives in the triangle. It takes ships and
pulls them down.
•Also there was a sighting of a monster
jellyfish
•There is the thought of a giant octopus
that pulls people off the ship and eats .
them, but I think that is a stupid theory.
Who knows, there may just be
something in the Bermuda Triangle.
Some people say that the
Bermuda Triangle is one of the
few places on Earth with a
magnetic force.
The magnetic force in the
Triangle has been known to
cause a compass to fail or
point to true North, which is
different than North in general.
Magnetic Force Theory
 Hydrates of methane formed at the depth of
more than 300 meters at temperature of about
2 degrees above zero.
 This substance turns into gaseous state.
 The density of water descends down sharply
and they can’t secure floatation of ships.
Gas Bubble Theory
Gulf Stream
The gulf stream is an ocean current that
originates in the gulf of Mexico.
It can carry floating objects like a river.
It has a surface velocity of about 2.5 m/s.
A small plan making a water landing or a boat
having engine trouble can be carried away by
the current.
.
•Short and intense storms build up,
undetected by satellite surveillance.
•Presence of such dangerous elements
as waterspouts that could easily destroy
anything.
Tropical Weather
Some people believe that the Triangle
houses the famous lost city of Atlantis.
No evidence has been brought forth to
prove this theory, but many claim to have
seem or "felt the powers" of the lost city.
•…Aliens! there is little
evidence to show any sign of UFOs
(Unidentified Flying Objects) in the
area.
•Several people have claimed to
have made UFO sightings,
•UFO experts and enthusiasts do
not support the photographs
involved.
Incidences occurred in
the Bermuda Triangle.
Flight 19 occurred
when a group of five
fighter planes
disappeared without a
trace. They vanished
on a training mission
during a severe storm
in 1945. Several
rescue planes went
out to look for them,
one of them vanished
too.
Flight 19
Douglas DC-3
On December 28, 1948, a Douglas DC-3
aircraft, disappeared while on a flight from
San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Miami. No trace of
the aircraft or the 32 people onboard was
ever found.
1948: Four-engined Tudor IV lost with 31 lives.
1950: American freighter, SS Sandra (350 ft),
sinks without a trace.
1954: US Navy Lockheed Constellation
vanishes with 42 aboard.
1962: US Air Force KB-50 tanker plane lost.
1963: Marine Sulpher Queen vanishes without
a trace.
Some Other Incidences
1967: Military YC-122, converted to cargo
plane, lost.
1970: French freighter Milton latrides
disappears.
1972: German freighter Anita (20,000 tons),
lost with crew of 32.
1997: Passengers disappear from German
yacht.
Kusche’s research
Larry Kusche,
author of “The
Bermuda Triangle
Mystery: Solved”
argued that many
claims of
subsequent writers
were often
exaggerated or
unverifiable.Kusche also argued that a large percentage of
the incidents occurred well outside it.
So is the mystery true??
Was there a raging storm?
Or the aliens or monsters?
Did Larry Kusche actually solve the Bermuda
triangle?
Or was he trying to look smart?
CONCLUSION
•Still the area is undoubtedly an area of
great tragedy and even mystery.
•Perhaps the ocean is to remain a
secret to man, a mystery, to keep us
away from the power nature truly has
over man.
•This mystery can serve as a warning
and to inspire awe into men's heart,
looking at the greatness and power this
great Creation.

Editor's Notes

  • #8 In this area happens unexplained disappearing of ships, small boats, and aircraft.
  • #10 The legends about this strange area have already been known for about 100 years, but nobody can still explain strange phenomena taking place in the enchanted triangle.
  • #13 Many theories have been given to explain the extraordinary mystery of these missing ships and planes. Sci-Fi Theory Magnetic Force Theory Gas Bubble Theory Gulf Stream Tropical weather Alien’s theory
  • #15 An oceanographer named Anton Brunn found a 6 foot eel in a tadpole stage. It is expected to grow 72 feet long.
  • #17 In this theory it is assumed that the reason for disappearance of ships and airplanes may be the hydrate of methane, which is formed at the depth of more than 300 meters at the temperature of about 2 degrees above zero. This substance is very unstable and easily turns into gaseous state. Powerful eruption of methane under water results in churning of it. Because of that the density of the water descends decreases down and hence the floatation of ships become unsecured like This would cause ships to sink quickly and without a trace.
  • #18 The Gulf Stream is an ocean current which is extremely strong and that originates in the Gulf of Mexico. It is a river within an ocean, and, like a river, it can carry floating objects. It has a surface velocity of about 2.5 ms-1. This is enough to throw many boaters hundreds of miles off coarse because they did not know how to compensate for the current.
  • #19 Many short and intense storms build up quickly and dissipate quickly, undetected by satellite inspection. These even hold such dangerous elements as waterspouts that could easily destroy any passing plane or ship.
  • #21 Aliens is basically a strange unfamiliar creature, but human-like. The "Bermuda Triangle" is one of two portals, used by the "human-like" aliens, to travel from their planet to ours. And there is just a little evidence to show any sign of UFOs in the area. UFO is actually unidentified flying object or u can say flying saucer. Several people have claimed the sightings of UFOs in Bermuda triangle, but even famous UFO experts and fanatics do not support the photographs involved.
