 Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was
established at Bangalore, India, in 1954.
 It is owned by the Indian Government &
primarily manufactures advanced electronic
products for the Indian Armed Forces. BEL is
one of the eight PSUs under Ministry of
Defense, Government Of India. It has even
earned the government's Navratna status.
 The Company devotes considerable effort to
deliver state-of-the-art equipments to defense
users.
 As of April 1, 2012, BEL's order book is
estimated to be around 25,748 crore (US$4.87
billion).
 The Company received progressive self
reliance in the areas of radio communication,
radars, broadcasting components.
