• Theyshould not always rely
 on technology

• They should be comfortable
 having a face-to-face meeting
LEARN TO LIKE PEOPLE

• Our  teachers need to have the
 ability to like people

• With this they can teach their
 students that it is important to
 forge relationships with people
 to be globally competitive

• Students   must know that people
 skills are just as important, if not
 more, than computer skills.
HAVE PASSION

• Studentsshould know that they
 need to be globally competitive

• They should know what this
 means so that they want to
 learn

• Once  they decide to learn they
 will be that much closer to
 being the leaders of the future
 that America needs.
PASSION + CURIOSITY

• CQ+PQ>IQ

• CuriosityQuotient plus the
 Passion Quotient is greater
 than the Intelligence
 Quotient

• The children who are
 curious will work harder
CLASSROOM EXAMPLE

• Don't  just have you students
 read about throes in science
 class, actually have them go
 outside and put them into
 action

• Doingwill help them learn
 and understand then
 memorization will
CLASSROOM EXAMPLE

• Setup a pen pal program in
 the classroom so that the
 students can communicate
 with people from other
 cultures and get to know
 what life is like for them.

• Thiscan include letters, text,
 video conferencing or any
 other form of communication.
REWARD

• Reward yourself in knowing
 you have taught the next
 generation of global leaders
 and learners.

• Students can be proud in
 knowing that there is a place
 for them in the larger world
 and that they are ready to
 meet it.

  • 2. BE EXCITED TO LEARN! • Teachers need to be excited to learn • This will instill a curiosity and excitement into students • Itwill be easier for teachers to make their students understand global concepts
  • 3. NEVER STOP LEARNING • Teachersshould be a motivator for their students. •A student will want to learn if they see their teacher learning.
  • 4. TEACH STUDENTS HOW TO INTERACT • Students need to be able to interact with people • Theyshould not always rely on technology • They should be comfortable having a face-to-face meeting
  • 5. LEARN TO LIKE PEOPLE • Our teachers need to have the ability to like people • With this they can teach their students that it is important to forge relationships with people to be globally competitive • Students must know that people skills are just as important, if not more, than computer skills.
  • 6. HAVE PASSION • Studentsshould know that they need to be globally competitive • They should know what this means so that they want to learn • Once they decide to learn they will be that much closer to being the leaders of the future that America needs.
  • 7. PASSION + CURIOSITY • CQ+PQ>IQ • CuriosityQuotient plus the Passion Quotient is greater than the Intelligence Quotient • The children who are curious will work harder
  • 8. CLASSROOM EXAMPLE • Don't just have you students read about throes in science class, actually have them go outside and put them into action • Doingwill help them learn and understand then memorization will
  • 9. CLASSROOM EXAMPLE • Setup a pen pal program in the classroom so that the students can communicate with people from other cultures and get to know what life is like for them. • Thiscan include letters, text, video conferencing or any other form of communication.
  • 10. REWARD • Reward yourself in knowing you have taught the next generation of global leaders and learners. • Students can be proud in knowing that there is a place for them in the larger world and that they are ready to meet it.
