Responsible for writing of all electrical project scopes, and AutoCAD (Ver.12) design/drafting of all in-house

Design, installation, and start-up of a GE 90/30 PLC system for the control of a multiple conveying and carton filling
system for the packaging of the hazardous material Cadmium Oxide, in accordance with all OSHA safety standards
for airborne particulate control.

Senior Systems Engineer As part of the systems Integration group my responsibilities included: estimation, specification, design, and start-up of automation projects for large, industrial customers utilizing Allen Bradley PLC5/15,20,40,and 80 processors, GE Series I, III and 90/30 processors, Allen Bradley 1336 Variable Frequency drives, Allen Bradley 1395 DC drives, Panelview 900/1200, DTAM Plus, and Redi-Panel operator interface platforms, as well as Allen Bradley DL20 Dataliner displays and Wonderware “Intouch” Man-Machine Interface software. Projects included design and start-up of a “Flying Saw”- an “on-the fly” pipe cutting system for Laclede Steel Corp. of Alton, IL., and the design and start-up of a multiple conveyor production line system for Nascote Industries of Nashville, Il. 10/1986 – 6/1993 BIG RIVER ZINC REFINERY- Sauget, IL Plant/Project Electrical Engineer Responsible for all Power, Control and Instrumentation electrical design on new capital projects, retrofit projects, and preventative maintenance for the 95,000 TPY (tons per year) electrolytic zinc refinery as the Plant Electrical Engineer. Complete electrical retrofit of (3) large Buell (G.E.) Electrostatic Precipitator control systems- (T/R sets and Automatic Voltage Controls) Responsible for writing of all electrical project scopes, and AutoCAD (Ver.12) design/drafting of all in-house Electrical drawings. Design, installation, and start-up of a GE 90/30 PLC system for the control of a multiple conveying and carton filling system for the packaging of the hazardous material Cadmium Oxide, in accordance with all OSHA safety standards for airborne particulate control.
