supply for the wellbeing of individuals and family
groups when clans dismantled. Do I need to own a
car? Maybe not, a coffee pot? Maybe yes.
 Effectiveness. Can the commons guarantee
resource supply in a timely fashion?
 Justice. Can the commons guarantee equity? How
to factor in punishment and reward? The tragedy of
the commons.

 Value-centred. Devices need to become moraly-
aware. Norms and conventions. How to embed
values in technology. By construction? By proof?
