  Within individual universities and colleges, the strategic
  management of the processes and relationships this creates
  will be crucial to future impact and success.

    Business and Community Engagement (BCE) is a
    term being used to describe the holistic, strategic
    management of relationships between academic
    institutions and external organisations and
    individuals.

    BCE is focused around four dimensions:
          • Employer engagement
          • Lifelong learning
          • Knowledge transfer (and exchange)
          • Public, community & cultural engagement
