GONE GIRL
BBFCINSIGHT strong bloody
violence, very strong language
The content of
the trailer is
however a 12
5. What I am going to do….
I have decided, like Gone Girl, although if a movie was created the rating
may be higher, I will in keep my trailer as a rating of 15;. I chose not to be
12 as if the nature of the trailer features an unsettling tone it is likely to be
classed as 15 and this is the tone I am hoping to achieve. I would prefer the
film trailer to not be 18 as this rating would limit the audience niche and
also restrict the varied platforms and times my trailer could be shown.
In order to comply with the 15 rating I must follow these guidelines:
• Strong violence accepted- NO GORY IMAGES
• Strong sense of horror- NO focus on sadistic or sexualized threat
• Drug taking allowed- NO promotion or glorifying of the drug
