He has over 20 years of experience in explosives handling and analysis, bomb data analysis, and counterterrorism operations. In-Charge “Bomb Data Centre” and In-charge “Explosive
Analysis Laboratory” in the counter terrorism wing (CTW) of
FIA. Technically sweeps and cover the important terrorist
bombing incidents and ensure that the zonal teams do cover
such incidents in time and submit their incident reports.
Prepare Special Incident Reports of important terrorist
incidents along with different kinds of analysis, the same
report is further submitted to Minister and Secretary of
Ministry of Interior. As a certified operator (Refer to foreign
courses) of explosive detection/analysis machines held by
FIA, CTW conducts analysis of explosives, explosive residues,
military munitions and terrorist devices recovered from crime
scene or submitted by provincial police departments. As a
certified explosive expert declared by Federal Govt appear as
a witness against the said Lab reports/analysis. Made an
endeavor to train the provincial police officers and FIA
personnel through various short courses on crime scene
investigations, introduction to improvised explosive devices
(IEDs) and home made explosives.
Additionally holds the charge of Additional Director
Security HQ FIA. Revised the security and evacuation plan
of HQ in case of any eventuality and carried out
comprehensive rehearsals of required actions by the security
staff in case of emergency including coordination with
Islamabad Police.

Force Karachi (ASF) (2004-2006)
Head of the Procurement Department. Budgeting,
procurement and inspection were the main responsibilities.
During the appointment revised all the standing operating
procedures for tendering, procurement and inspection.
Beside this acted as advisor to Director General of Airport
Security Force on matters pertaining to procurement and
further deployment of security equipment on all the
Airports. Engaging a maintenance contractor to ensure
periodic maintenance of all the machinery and timely

2. Ammunition technical officer 10th Division
(2002-2004)
Advisor to the General Officer Commanding on the matters
related to Ammunition. Ensured the proper storage of
ammunition held by the under command units through
inspections and identifying the weak areas and submitting the
reports to the General Officer Commanding. Carried out the
demolition of unexploded ordnance during the field firing and
moreover actively participated in the clearance of mine fields
laid during the escalation.
Officer Commanding Independent Ammunition
Platoon (2000-2002)
Served as Officer Commanding Independent Ammunition
Platoon. This was a Forward Ammunition Depot. During this
period ensured that the stock level of ammunition is
maintained at a given level and in this kept close liaison with
General Headquarters and with the base depot for timely
replenishment. Visited deployed units and advised them on
the techniques of field storage of ammunition. Being officer
commanding revisited the security arrangements of
ammunition depot and carried out surprise checks and
arranged practical exercises in order to ensure the
foolproof security arrangements, which ultimately
helped and proved worthiness of the platoon during
escalation and security check of the platoon.
Commander Chaklala Complex Rawalpindi
(1996-1997)
This was a vehicle depot. Responsible for the storage of
vehicles and their required spares, due for major repair.
Issued the same vehicles and spares to the Base Workshop
for overhauling, and later issuing the same vehicles as
overhauled to the user units. Ensured the overall security
of the perimeter and enforced measures which
effectively checked the pilferage of attractive spares
worth millions stocked in the depot.
Security Officer Golra Depot Rawalpindi
(1995-1996)
Security officer of the biggest vehicle and spares depot
of Pakistan Army. Supervised and managed the smooth
entry and exit of approximately 2000 work force on the
daily basis. Efficiently handled the visitors (User units
coming for collection of spares and vehicles) through a proper
SOP, which ultimately helped the organization to timely issue
(During working hours) the stores against their demands thus
helped in increasing the overall efficiency of the depot.
