Supervised a team of engineers, scientists, and system integrators responsible for the acquisition and
integration of next generation capabilities and then emerging those technologies with combatant
commanders' requirements. Directly supported the TRID Defeat the Device (DtD) and Attack the
Network (AtN) Lines of Operation (LOO) Chiefs, TRID Chief, and the JIEDDO Director. Acted as the
central point of contact for coordination of day to day operations within the division and the
processing of programs through the Joint Capability Approval and Acquisition Management Process
(JCAAMP), which forms the foundation of JIEDDO's business and rapid acquisition model.
Responsible for the creation of slides and briefings presented to both the Secretary of Defense
and Congress.
Headed up the team conducting monthly acquisition program audits insuring the
synchronization of requirement cost and JIEDDO's multi-year budgets (ranging from $3.7
billion to $4.5 billion annually).
Developed the division’s contribution to the Afghanistan Support Plan.

Master Sergeant / Airborne Ranger 1986 – 06/30/2006
Retired honorably after twenty years with the majority of Military Service spent in leadership positions
in the 82nd and 173rd Airborne. Other significant assignments include Senior Drill Sergeant, Ranger
Instructor, and Battalion Intelligence Sergeant. The most recent assignment was teaching at
Georgetown University's Army ROTC. The course of instruction focused on the Military Decision
Making Processes (MDMP), the planning process to include Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operations
Orders (OPORDS),Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs), Implementation Plans and Execution Matrixes.
Instruction periods emphasized counter insurgency operations with field exercises requiring cross
department and agency coordination and documentation in the form of Memorandums of
Understanding and Agreements (MOU/MOAs). I was selected over hundreds of other instructors to
represent Cadet Command in the Army's Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Instructor of
the Year competition for 2004 and assisted in implementing the Adaptive Leader Program. The
Adaptive Leader Program was a unique approach to teaching that served as the model on how to teach
adaptability by the Institute of Defense Analyses (IDA) and was adopted by United States Military
Academy at West Point. Participated in combat operations during Operation Just Cause (Panama),
Desert Shield and Storm (Iraq),Operation Joint Endeavor (Bosnia), and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq).
