Members from the Valley of the Sun HCCA drove vintage cars through the hills of Escondido, stopping first at Restoration Supply Company for a tour and parts viewing. Their final stop was at the home of Greg and Janet Wakeman, perched high in the hills, where members enjoyed lunch and viewing the Wakemans' private automobile collection, including a 1910 Locomobile. The hilly terrain proved challenging for some of the vintage vehicles.

Let’s talk about powerful conversations! We all know how to lead a constructive conversation, right? Then why is it so difficult to have those conversations with people at work, especially those in powerful positions that show resistance to change?
Learning to control and direct conversations takes understanding and practice.
We can combine our innate empathy with our analytical skills to gain a deeper understanding of complex situations at work. Join this session to learn how to prepare for difficult conversations and how to improve our agile conversations in order to be more influential without power. We will use Dave Gray’s Empathy Mapping, Argyris’ Ladder of Inference and The Four Rs from Agile Conversations (Squirrel and Fredrick).
In the session you will experience how preparing and reflecting on your conversation can help you be more influential at work. You will learn how to communicate more effectively with the people needed to achieve positive change. Psychological safety in teams is important; team members must feel safe and able to communicate and collaborate effectively to deliver value. It’s also necessary to build long-lasting teams since things will happen and relationships will be strained.
But, how safe is a team? How can we determine if there are any factors that make the team unsafe or have an impact on the team’s culture?
In this mini-workshop, we’ll play games for psychological safety and team culture utilizing a deck of coaching cards, The Psychological Safety Cards. We will learn how to use gamification to gain a better understanding of what’s going on in teams. Individuals share what they have learned from working in teams, what has impacted the team’s safety and culture, and what has led to positive change.
Different game formats will be played in groups in parallel. Examples are an ice-breaker to get people talking about psychological safety, a constellation where people take positions about aspects of psychological safety in their team or organization, and collaborative card games where people work together to create an environment that fosters psychological safety.

So in our presentation today, we are going to introduce about music.

What is music ? - Music is sound that has been organized by using rhythm, melody or harmony. - There are four things that music has most of the time: pitch, rhythm, dynamics and timbre. - There is no simple definition of music that cover all cases. - According to Thomas Clifton, music is "a certain reciprocal relation established between a person, his behavior, and a sounding object“.
- 3. History of Music Evenin the stone age people made music. Thefirst music was probably made tryingto imitate sounds and rhythmsthat occurred naturally. Humanmusic may echothese phenomenausing patterns, repetition and tonality.This kindof music is still heretoday. Thefirst musical instrumentused by humanswas probably the voice. Thehumanvoice can makemanydifferent kinds of sounds. Most likely the first rhythminstruments or percussion instruments involved the clapping of hands, stones hit together, or other things that are useful to keepa beat. These days many new artists have come up such as Bruno Mars, Adam Levine, and many more constantly changing the face of the modern day music with songs like Gorilla, Maps, Break the Rules and many more. There are many types of music that affect our life.
- 5. • Classical music is art music produced or rooted in the traditions of Western music. It encompasses a broad span of time from roughly the 11th century to the present day.
- 6. • Country music is a genre of American popular music that originated in Southern United States, in Bristol, Tennessee in the 1920s. It takes its roots from the southeastern genre of American folk music and Western music.
- 7. • Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music.
- 8. • Music can be produced electronically. This is most commonly done by computers, keyboards, electric guitars and disk tables. They can mimic traditional instruments, and also produce very different sounds. 21st-century electronic music is commonly made with computer programs and hardware mixers.
- 9. • Pop Music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form in the Western world during the 1950s and 1960s, deriving from rock and roll. The terms "popular music" and "pop music" are often used interchangeably, although the former describes of music that is popular.
- 10. Rock music is a genre of popular music that originated as "rock and roll" in the United States in the 1950s, and developed into a range of different styles in the 1960s and later, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States.
