What is baggage handling
Baggage handling is the process of transporting passenger
luggage from a check-in counter at a departure airport, onto a
plane cargo hold and then to a collection point at an arrival
airport.
Baggage Handling System BHS
A baggage handling system is a type of conveyor system that
has the main purpose of carrying the luggage of an airplane
traveler to be loaded onto an airplane and then from the airplane
back to the baggage claim area.

BHS perform the
following functions
● Move bags from the check-in area to the departure gate

Baggage Handler
The person who loads and unloads baggage
(suitcases or luggage), and other cargo (airfreight,
mail, counter-to-counter packages) for transport via
aircraft.
Bag tag
also known as baggage tags, baggage checks or luggage tickets,
have traditionally been used by bus, train, and airline carriers to
route checked luggage to its final destination. The passenger
stub is typically handed to the passenger or attached to the ticket
envelope:
