1. WebSphere Migration
 Migration of WebSphere from V7.x, 8.x to V.9 and completed the whole setup from
starting to requirement gathering to release in production.
 Creation and federation of new Node, Cell, Profile and admin console.
 Setup new JDBC and DataSource provider for Oracle and Custom JDBC provider
 Configuring JMS.
 Installation of IHS and working with plugins and tuning it. Setup certificate (with
Mutual authentication and without mutual authentication for each server).
 WebServer and JVM heap tuning as per application standard.
 Deploying new application to make it up and running for PRD, BFX, INT, ST, PT,

2. Tomcat
 Create multiple new environments for deploying new application on both UNIX and

 Auto start application after every patching cycle (Automatic start all the application
which needed to bring down for Unix patching activity that saved almost 15-20
mints per application)
 Thread and Heap dump script (It will automatic take dumps for the mentioned
sever and send you back the dump files by creating a separate folder for all of
them)
 JVM down alert (Will send mail separately if any application goes down to
middleware group)
 Log rotation (Delete X days of old log from the server based on days and size
which ever triggers first)
Project The project involves Application Integration, Middleware Operations and Support for American
Electricity Company. American Electricity Company is serving over 6 million customers today
and focuses on protection and asset accumulation, income management and wealth transfer.
The Overall goal of the project is to ensure that all the applications run smoothly without having
any outage in the WebSphere, WebLogic, tomcat, IIS region and yield good output/result and
taking care of upgrading the existing WebSphere software to newer version. This project also
ensures that all releases are being deployed properly on time. Customer will be provided with
daily administration of the infrastructure and applications including providing assistance with
routing support and maintenance activities involving installation of software upgrades and
patch release.
