This elearning course delivers the training required by law for anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol. Designed around
the Award for Personal License Holders and fully accredited by EDI, this engaging, interactive set of modules is equivalent to a
one day (6-hour) classroom based course.
The aim of this course is to give learners the knowledge they need to ensure that the sale of alcohol is safe and legally
compliant at their site. By the end of the course, learners are able to:
• Explain the legal and social responsibilities of a Personal Licence holder
• Identify ways to help achieve and promote the four key licensing objectives

a multiple-choice, post-module assessment and the course ends with a mock
exam.
