Common Induction Standards 2010

The most important part of saying hello...

Common Induction Standards are not an optional extra – they are mandatory for every new adult social care worker in a
residential, domiciliary or specialist area environment. The award must be completed within 12 weeks of employment, and
compliance is checked in Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.

This MindLeaders course matches all of the requirements set by Skills for Care in the 2010 update of the standards. It’s the
effective and efficient way to achieve full compliance on Common Induction Standards.

	       • Aimed at people entering social care and those changing roles or employers within adult social care
	       • Covers all the areas that care workers need to know about before they can work unsupervised

Key Information
Modules: 9 modules for the 8 Common Induction Standards and an extra module on Emergency First Aid. (See the module

Course duration: Approximately 8 hours in total.

Requirements: No prior knowledge of the care sector or of IT skills needed.
